Trailer music

I registered just for this. So maybe, hopefully, someone can help me.

I want to find the name of the song used in the new trailers. Not the cheap midi-file ones rehashed from WW. I mean the orchastral one with the vocals.
It's like gregorian music with latin vocals and fast strings.

Any help would make my day.

Re: Trailer music

There were two trailers released. I'm assuming you're talking about the one with the chanting, etc.. That was in fact the music from the original Ocarina Of Time commercial; it's been used ever since by Nintendo in various ways. I believe it was even composed by the man who wrote the music for Conan The Barbarian. I'm not sure of the name, however.

You speak of vocals, though, and unless you mean that there are lyrics with that as well, there's a good chance that the one you're listening to is from a fan version from the trailer.

Re: Trailer music

One of the versions of the trailor has choir chants or whatever they're called. Gregorian chants, heh.

That's the one he's referring to. Unfortunately, I don't have a clue where you could find it.

Dark Tower fan though. Hope you stick around. Read Song of Susanah yet?

It's the music from the trailer that he wants, not the trailer itself.

Sorry, thought you were asking about the trailer itself. I have no idea where to get the music myself, though. You could try ripping it from the video, however, although you'd have the sound effects in there.

Re: Trailer music

Edit: Do a google search for: original-musique-de-fond-trailers-zelda

It's on a french site, and it's called what you searched for. This, however, is the original version. That means it is 5 minutes long and sounds a lot different than in the trailor. Still good though. The first half is nothing like the trailor, but the second half is recognizable.

Re: Trailer music

I have a question about the different music for the trailers. I know one is that "Dark Riders" theme from Conan the Barbarian, but what about the other one? I personally like the second one more.

Why do you want your first experience with TP to be a mirrored one?
The GC version is superior overall - admit it.
