If you watch closely when Link is pushing the block, you can notice a fireball of the sorts that follows him. Now, I would have assumed it would be some sort of enemy projectile, but the weird thing is after he does the pushing motion and stops, the fireball stops, then when he starts again, the fireball starts again. Now can anyone tell me what this thing might be. I know it probably isn't a fairy, but there is a slim, SLIM chance of it being one. I believe that it is probably some kind of item.

Re: I was just watching the Zelda 05 movie and I noticed something
Yes people have been talking about this. There seem to be many faults in the E3 trailer. thats the 3rd one I have heard of, the others...Link when he draws his sword while rideing Epona (The sound when he draws his sword is to early) the other one is when he is in the forest and he jumps to kill that guy and a arrow kind of nearly hits Link after he kills him. And the most recent one is the one you said.
Maybe this trailer was rushed for E3? |

Re: I was just watching the Zelda 05 movie and I noticed something
From what I have heard, the movie was all in game footage. So they do probably have some glitches to work out, especially considering that it is still in it's early versions.
That still does not answer my question about what the fireball thing was. |

Maybe when Link has started to push the block, it appeared and it started to chase him (it could be a security feature of the temple he is in)

Re: I was just watching the Zelda 05 movie and I noticed something
I just watched the trailer. I think that the fire ball is a ball of fire, probably comming from an enemy. It doesn't look like a fairie to me, plus fairies are glowing balls of light in theses games; not glowing balls of fire.

Re: I was just watching the Zelda 05 movie and I noticed something
Hmm i'm not to sure about this one, it could be a fairy or it could be a security feature like Mxi678 said, or it could just be a mistake in the trailer, i think it is just a mistake or something, but it could be something else....

Re: I was just watching the Zelda 05 movie and I noticed something
It just seems a bit strange on how the flame moves. I just don't think it could be a projectile from an enemy because...
1. It is moving to slow...I mean if projectiles came in that slow it would be very, very easy to dodge. 2. It stops when Link stops, and moves when Link moves. It could be a sort of item that follows Link, maybe for protection of some sort. I am not ruling out the possibility of it being a projectile from an enemy, just that I think it is unlikely. |

Did anyone think that maybe it is an enemy that follows you?

Really, maybe the fireball is moving at a constant speed. It could simply be the camera's movements that makes it appear to be following Link. |

Re: I was just watching the Zelda 05 movie and I noticed something
Hmmmm....This may be intresting....
Now. I don't think it's a fairy, because Huntress999 or somebody said that it was a ball of fire. Not balls of light. I need to look at the trailer again, all i remember is Link pushing a block and then it turns to something else. It is a possibility that it may be a river of lava and the camera moving could be the reason why it looks like it is stopping and then going. If it were a projectile weapon, it would have fallen on the floor when it stopped.

Re: I was just watching the Zelda 05 movie and I noticed something
When I watched the trailer, it looked like to me that the ball of flame was getting smaller as Link progressed to the left. Maybe it is dying as it reaches him, or maybe it is being shot past him, going diagonally. You can use the block in the background on the right as proof. WHen you first see the fireball, it's about as big as the engraved square on the block. But when you get another good view of it right before the scene change, it's quite smaller than before. The thing that makes it really hard to tell is that it casts no shadows or anything, so we probably won't know what it is until the game comes out, though it is fun to try to figure out what it is lol.

Re: I was just watching the Zelda 05 movie and I noticed something
Well, maybe Link is in a volcanic place, and we are seeing that fireball coming after him, but as it gets closer to him, it loses energy. Then again, it looks like it is headed straight to his back...
......I think there is a new weapon that projects fireballs in this game.

Re: I was just watching the Zelda 05 movie and I noticed something
that would be cool if they brought back the fire rod in this game and you could control the fireball

Another idea I had were those blocks in Zelda I that shoot fireballs at you. It could be those, as well. Anybody else with ideas? |
