Hey, what happened to the other Analyzing thread?

It's gone. Poof. Dissappeared. Even Cody can't find it.
Ganontrain ate it.


So here's the new one! In this thread, we Analyze the new Spirit Tracks trailers etc. Keep the hype in the hype-thread


So without further ado, here's the story (spoiler alert) vids and pix (credits to meep and GKANG):

So the whole 'Zelda possesses the phantom' thing only happens in the Spirit Tower, a similar place to the Temple of the Ocean King. So you won't get to control Zelda all that much. Aww. :<

Nice game-pics i didn't notice some of the other characters in the video so i didn't get to see some of the other characters.

putting that aside i think everyone is getting a better idea from when this game was first shown to the public cause all we saw was a boss and a few new items now we got a better idea of the story

RED= The gorons return???
BLUE= Hyrule seems to have a coast now

Ganon the red-nosed choo-choo...

Yeah, after King Daphnes the Red Boat, I don't think we could possibly rule this out completely. But you gotta admit, that would be one lousy revival for the Evil King. Plus, it seems like the train is simply... well, a train. A travelling vessel for those two weirdos. If it has any reference to Ganondorf, it's probably just limited to a reference.

I'd love to see the boss battle though:

If you pay attention to the trailer at the part where Gonzo (or whoever) is carrying Zelda away, in his left hand, you see some kind of robotic arm. What could that be? :/ Link was protecting Zelda from that arm in the trailer too, so... I wonder.

I'm pretty sure Ganon's been called that before. Could be someone new though.

Anyway, that guy that zaps Zelda looks pretty dumb if he's a main villain, even compared to Zant.

But it is probably not Ganon, as the original Link (WW/PH) and Tetra first encountered it in New Hyrule. The Spirit Tracks are the chains keeping it from taking over the world, and the crazy looking dude wants to use Zelda's body to ressurect him.
So no, I don't think it's Ganon

But you see, Wind Waker Link, who already fought and killed (?) Ganon came to new Hyrule and encountered the "Great Demon" thing. If it was Ganon, you'd think that Link and Tetra would recognize him and people would know that it was him.

no, from the IGN report it just says that the inhabitants of the land had to deal with the Demon King and that a battle with the Demon King happened between PH and ST. That is quite vague, the Demon King might have been there before the land was called Hyrule, or the land was called Hyrule and then the Demon King came about to plague the inhabitants.

It's new Hyrule according to IGN. The story (according to them) says that the Link of WW and PH found a new land inhabited by a demon. So they defeated him and called the land Hyrule. You're playing on that landmass 100 years after PH ends. With a new Link (obvi).

Anybody think that this old lady might be Tetra?


My reasons for:
Similar hair
Looks old enough to be over 100
Is in a motorized wheel-chair with the royal crest on it

That'd be amazing. It'd be the first time that a previous Zelda would be in the same game as the new incarnation of Zelda. That's two Zelda's, folks. I'd love it!

At least the walls in the Hyrule Castle dungeon look pretty nice compared to pretty much any dungeon design in Phantom Hourglass. Screen to the right, more of the same :/
