Well seeing that ST is using the same engine as PH, gameplay will be exactly the same. Story will be awesome (hopefully better than PH) then I'll be set.

I'm interesting in the story and all, but I'm not looking forward to the gameplay(and controls). I didn't like it that much in PH either.

The controls didn't bother me at all in PH, not even getting Link to somersault (all you have to do is move the stylus back and forth in a quick swipe at the edge of the screen and it works). PH was just alright for a Zelda game, but hopefully ST will be better.
I'm not holding my breath, though-- it doesn't look to innovate in much more than the story.

I'm excited for the game. I didn't mind PH's controls much anyways. |

I loved the controls in Phantom Hourglass, but the dungeon design was at best tedious and at worst a soul crushing revelation that the game has barely changed over 11 games and 18 years since Link to the Past.

The controls in PH didn't bother me much, it's just my DS screen was all dirty while I played (even after I quickly cleaned it) and sometimes Link wouldn't react to the stylus being swiped on the screen.
The screen is cleaner now after I've spent some time cleaning it, so bring on ST. The story is the thing that interests me most right now. Having Zelda die is a good idea from Nintendo, and I can't wait to see how they make it work. |
