Official Spirit Tracks Hype Thread

So, is it already known if this game has wifi/multilayer? I hope its not the same as PH, and more like shadow battle.

Yes...It will involve trains. And it will be up to 4 player.

Yeah...The online battle system is a train death match. I think a co-op dungeon would be cooler.

Looking at the box art, I doubt it. Normally when they release the box art, you'll see if the game has wifi,(like Yoshi's island DS, but the wifi got canceled) and this time the wifi Icon is not there.

I'm actually kinda looking forward to the multiplayer, I though PH's was really fun.

I love the throwback to Hyrule Castle's garden in Ocarina of Time. This makes stealth look fun, which it definitely wasn't in Phantom Hourglass.

I've always wanted to sneak Zelda out of the castle in OoT.

Does Zelda have any parents, or is she still the absolute "ruler." Seems, pretty unrealistic, but whatever.

There's been many young (and under age) rulers in real life

Considering you need to sneak her out of the castle, I'd say it's safe to assume she has parents.

I'm probably getting it for Christmas. For those of you who pre-ordered/are buying it on the 7th, tell us less fortunate ones about it! Just don't spoil anything.

i havnt logged in in a long time

so most people dont know me

but i feel so exited for the game

I didn't even knew what to expect from this game, but now this trailer really tells me exactly what to expect, a PH with a much more interesting storyline, original items and some kind of different feel despite being the same, much like MM to OoT...

Yet another reason to get a DS..... Spirit Tracks, Golden Sun, Okami.... yup, think I need to get one...

So after seeing the new trailer my expectations went from sobbing in a corner whilst rocking backwards and forwards very slowly to an otherworldly groan along the lines of: meeeeeeeeeeehh.

I am at least vaguely intrigued that this stitches together the timeline somewhat, but beyond that I'm finding it hard to care.

(also, Zelda is blatantly not dead, since the bad guys end up stealing her body after they zap her or something. Either that or she has a magical corpse...)
