At least the walls in the Hyrule Castle dungeon look pretty nice compared to pretty much any dungeon design in Phantom Hourglass. Screen to the right, more of the same :/

I was almost completely disinterested in Spirit Tracks until I saw this trailer and read the story article just now.

Now I might have to buy it just for the story.
Either way I know it'll be a decent game, even if it is pretty much the same as Phantom Hourglass. (What's with all the phantom stuff anyway? Hyrule's damn haunted.)

You don't remember the comparisons between the two games before it was released? People were comparing PH to MM because it was a direct sequel, that was supposed to be kind of a side-story, and it was apparently going to be unique. Basically, people thought Phantom Hourglass was going to be a sequel to Wind Waker in the same way as Majora's Mask was a sequel to Ocarina.

Well...PH was a sequel. And it had little to do with Hyrule. @_@ LA is to ALttp as MM is to OoT also. It's just PH wasn't as good as MM or LA.

ST looks awesome...The story sounds like a plain out fan fic. But that is actually a good thing! I'm excited!

Yes, these mysterious 'people'. I love how everything can just be thrown off on these 'people'. They seem to know everything, and yet, no one knows exactly who they are.

And what I meant by that statement is that Phantom Hourglass introduced the idea, laid the groundwork, and Spirit Tracks is going to buff it up, fix up the problems, and make something similar and yet entirely different.

Yes, I'm aware of that. But the comparison is more valid than OoT/MM.

Console game -> Handheld game
Link defeats Ganon(dorf) -> Sails off and has an adventure on island(s)

Hell, there's the Ocean King and the Wind Fish too.

LA is a much better comparison to PH than MM. Honestly.

OK. I'll accept the comparison, but I'm not the one who was comparing PH to MM. Though, I suppose it would seem plausible at the time before its release.

...GENIUS! So Coal...I mean Cole kills Zelda. And only Link can see Zelda's ghost. You think Link will take the blame orrr...will it by the typical bad guy is the bad guy thing...Back in ALttP Link got into some major trouble when everyone blamed him for kidnapping Zelda. @_@

I was wondering this too, because according to IGN Link sneaks Zelda out of the castle at the beginning. It would make sense.

*The Train woman seen in the trailer is named Anjean, Anjean = Engine?
