Let's pretend Nintendo JUST showed the teaser trailer

What would it look like? How long would it last? Yes...this is a hype thread, and I'm sorry.

I'd imagine it'd only be a minute long. If the game is far into production it'll probably show a lot of characters...if it's early beta, it'll focus on the gameplay and nothing else.

Will it show key places and characters...will it have voice acting? Geez, what's the new gameplay system going to look like. Will it finally just tell us who the chick is? Will it give us a title, already?

...Is Link going to fist fight? Lol, I seriously wanna see that.

I think it will be a lot like TP's first trailer, showing enemies and locations of Hyrule, none of which make it into the final version.

Actually, because Nintendo seems to be taking their time with releasing information on this game, the trailer might actually be accurate with what the final game will be like.

I think it will be totally awesome if they showed Link fighting throughout the trailer, then for the final scene, one of the characters in a cutscene actually says something with voice acting. That will be a fun day for this forum, I think.

I hope he licks and bites his enemies to death. And I hope that his clothes show signs of tear in battle, and and I hope...

Easy. Just think of the Galaxy 2 trailer. Apart from yoshi, there was nothing in the trailer to look forward to. All the hype came from the fact that it was a sequel to Galaxy 1.

Nintendo knows that hyping a game too much would hurt them in the long run. I don't expect the trailer to show more than basic gameplay and a couple of characters.

Oh yeah, and no VA. I neither want nor expect VA.

...If the trailer had VA the forums would break down from an overflow of threads. Geeez, just thinking about it makes me excited. Just over the simple idea. That'd be the biggest shock right thar!

Lol. Well you never know. 50% of the fanbase would be extremely happy. I just hope the game LOOKS like it's almost finished. In my mind, I don't think it'll look like TP at all since the game was made from scratch. If they can confirm this Link as OoT Link or something...That'll be enough. xD

However the trailer turns out to be, I think it'd be mind-blowingly epic if they had, at the very end, a character (possibly the girl) speak with voice-acting. Crystal clear, awesome, voice acting. Just imagine, you're sitting there watching it, impressed. Throughout the trailer, you're thinking, "Well, I hope there's voice acting in here somewhere!" And suddenly... BAM! In the last five seconds, someone makes an epic quote of some sort, ending the reign of text-only character speech.

...well, I think that would be cool, anyway. As long as it was really good VA, and Link doesn't speak.

Yeah, we all agree minus Double A. I think that'd be epic. It'd be E3 2004 all over again. For some reason whenever I have a Zelda dream it has voice acting. Probably because I can't read while I'm dreaming. It either comes out as gibberish or I wake myself up trying to read it. Plain out ridiculous.

But yes...Voice acting. Pretty graphics. Finalized gameplay...yessssss.

I would...I don't know what I'd do. Probably splode.
If there was voice acting, though, for real, I would most certainly burst into tears of joy. I really would.

I am 90% sure that the trailer will show a near-completed Zelda for the Wii.

Again, look back to Galaxy 2's trailer.

I wasn't subject to the hype attack of E3 2004, so I don't really get what made TP's first trailer so epic.

And if ZWii having VA-ed dialogue would seriously give you some kind of orgasm (*mental image*), then... wtf? Are you seriously saying that VA would make you more excited than the engaging gameplay that's sure to be in ZWii?

I'm expecting something more like the third TP trailer, it showed a teensy bit of plot and also Zelda, Midna and Zant, three of the main players in TP. It also showed the game's "gimmick".

Anyways for the new Zelda Wii trailer, I haven't really thought it over, but I do like Goron Warrior's idea how a figure appears and speaks at the end. That would probably give me the chills, depending who it was of course.

I can't pretend they just showed it.


That requires me to be up all night replaying it over and over.

E3 2004 was a press-only event too though. It just shows how unprofessional the gaming media is.

Anyway, I'm thinking that the game will be revealed with a demonstration rather than a trailer, so that Miyamoto can show off those Wii Motion Plus controls he seems so proud of.

It wouldn't be like that again anyway because people are going to be a hell of a lot more cautious.

Miyamoto will get on stage again, but now instead of a sword and shield, he has a wiimote and a nunchuk... And then link appears on the screen behind him, and miyamoto will do some sword fighting moves and link will mimic him almost perfectly. And then they'll show a trailer where the master sword is being forged and then link fighting some enemies and in the end the sword turns into the girl.

I'm talking about VA 'coz everybody else is.

I'm talking about Galaxy 2 because it's the same company that hypes both Galaxy 2 and ZWii, meaning that the formats of their trailers might not be so different.
