new zelda by shigeru myamoto

(i know some of the past posts have probably been something like this but please bear with me, i havent been on in a while)
ok so one day i was looking through a gameinformer magazine looking at some of the latest releases. all of a sudden i come uppon a single page, covered with link and a mysterious girl with a blue gemed pendant hanging from her chest. all of a sudden i realised it was what ive (and probably everyone else too) have always been thinking about, ITS A NEW ZELDA GAME COOL. so i took a picture, and will have it posted on this thread.
what id realy like though is to have some form of discussion posted towards this new happening, and if anyone out there has any more input about this thing please inform some of the people that will be viewing this thread. im pretty amped for this thing to come out because 1. its probably gonna be better than any of the cartoon based creations out there or 2. its gonna suck and everyone will go back to enjoying the greatest N64 game out there (Oot).
in order to start, ill just pose some statements and questions out there, but will not be on all the time to comment on most of the posts.
so to start, id like to discuss the girl in the foreground, what is her significance to the storyline (something like Tp or something new) and what does link have to do in order to protect/save/help her in future missions, or is she even anyone special at all. one thing i'd like to know is, though, if she is related to a zora. thats one of the most interesting things thats been running through my mind for the past couple days.

so any and all input is appretiated, and as always; no derrogetory remarks and stay on the topic (please) oh and btw NO SWEARING.

That was what first came to my mind. This girl some how has to be related to the Master Sword. If you ask me this is pretty mysterious. Maybe this new character has a role in the game kinda like Navy in OoT or like that other flying thing in TP. But I been thinking. By the look of her serousness that MS character looks like she doesn't even help at all. It looks like someone that needs saving and protectionp; with probably only some significant advantage in the end.

Ya, she just looks like a little girl in need of love and protection, probably oblivious of the full extent of her power.

awesome i would have never have guess that she would have been tied to the sword ( genious observation, truely). woa, i just realized his hand and sheath are empty of any weapons... coincidence? but how would he be able to protect her, or can she provide defenses of her own?..
a combination of a soul bind or a goddess comming down to re-establish the swords origional power. i still would like to think that the zoras, (my favorite charactors lol) are somehow involved.

Probably she can provide protection, but only when she is somehow transformed back into a sword stage, and when she is being wielded by the chosen one. Of course the hero of time. But of course that would be the hero's own skill and not the swords. However, maybe the sword still has its own original functionality: only sword with the power to inflict ganon\dorf. Hmmm... Indeed interesting.

Every time ZeldaZealot hears that its evil's bane or something really similar, he goes into an debate with himself about what is evil and what is good, and then just settles that the sword repels: 1. people unworthy of touching it, 2. whatever the wielder of it views as evil.

I think that evil is whatever the goddesses have established as such.

back to the origional discussion..
i think that the girl might have a signifigance to the story, wether she be evils bane(the sword) or not. because usually, in the origional story of link and zelda, link has always had to protect guide and save the damsel in destress: examples would be zelda, saria, malon, ruto, minda, and pretty much every girl in the entire series. so what im getting at is could this new girl (or game) be something completely new (which would be awesome, im thinkin space portal adventure thing) or is he basing the layout and storyline off of his origionals, meaning saving the girl or the girl saving herself and providing her own destiny.
obviously the goddessess have to have some signifigance in this game as well. any thoughts on that and what they might plan on doing (im assuming they're gona do something, going with the origional hypotheses, and that the creator is going to change many things around as well). what would they possibly do, and if they do anything at all, could this signify the closing of the Loz series?

Maybe she is the physical form of the spirit of the power of the Master Sword, alla Bleach in where their swords have names and spirits within. Miyamoto wouldn't be the first to take a good idea from someone and implement it into the game.

You can't keep people from swearing, especially since it's not against the rules.

Also, being away is no excuse to not use the search feature and make sure this hasn't been discussed to death.
