Something I want to point out...
Remember this:
![]() Everyone on ZU was intrigued with it, yet denying it at the same time. When we all read that article saying how the game would focus around a crazy person thinking he was the hero of time, and how trains were going to be the main transportation throughout hyrule? The terms 'steampunk' filled the forums and everyone was wondering about it, thinking how good or bad it would be. Then we were introduced to how this is a prequel to TWW, how this would set before the great flood of hyrule. And now officially Spirit Tracks is on are way to N.America in December: ![]() Now we're given a Zelda title, with a train, steampunk atmosphere. Wait, wasn't this hinted or told about in project deluge, that really fake zelda project? Valley of the Flood was mentioned steampunked. Don't you think that article gave some info away about the actual zelda title, spirit tracks? Trains and steampunk were mentioned in Valley of the Flood, and now we have it in spirit tracks. Maybe the fake article on VotF was actaully hinting to Spirit Tracks, but yet in a more exagerated manner. Now, mentioning how VotF is a prequel to TWW, and how possibly VotF hinted towards some tidbits towards Spirit Tracks, now I'm thinking about the post flood comment. WHAT IF there's a flood in Spirit Tracks? We don't know where this land came from, we don't know how Zelda comes back, how the castle she's in comes back. MAybe it's old hyrule? We don't know. Idea's are still up in the air. What if this trilogy of TWW, PH, ST is just one big PARADOX? To my knowledge up to this point, after reviewing that fake article on VotF and reading the info on spirit tracks, I believe that this trilogy may possibly be a paradox and it explains how the flood came about. Discuss. EDIT: Sorry mods if this is in the wrong section. It may need to go in the theorizing.

Re: Something I want to point out...
Valley of the Flood was PROVEN to be a fake. It was a photoshopped Zelda logo with the background being the cover of some book published in England. I do not have proof, I know, but I've seen video proving that it is.

Re: Something I want to point out...
Yeahhh...so is this a coincidence or...what? Miyamoto said at E3 that this Zelda has trains because many young japanese kids love trains. I think. The rumors of late 2008 might've contributed a bit though.

Re: Something I want to point out...
Hm... I agree with most of it... Except Spirit Tracks being 'steampunk'.
All I see is a stream train on a barren overworld... Like a boat on green water :/

PSN: VLR92 ![]() Zelda Wii is on the Adult timeline. When Link placed the Mastersword Back in the pedestal (After OOT) It returned with him to the child timeline. That's why the spirit of the Mastersword (Fairy Girl) is all that remains. |

Re: Something I want to point out...
Come to think of it, we don't really know what Spirit Tracks is about, story-wise. I hardly consider ST since I'm not really interested, but I can see the parallels with the concept of Deluge. If anything, I'd be interested to see what the story's about in ST.

Re: Something I want to point out...
We don't necessarily know that WW, PH, and ST form a trilogy (ST has the same style of artwork, but we won't know if it's the same Link and Zelda, or even the same timeline, until the game is out).
That being said, you're idea is not out of the question. That would be cool to see a direct prequel to WW, although it looks like ST being that prequel might be a stretch... |

Re: Something I want to point out...
Wait, what? I knew it was a fake from the beginning. It had too much story for a Zelda game.

Re: Something I want to point out...
Post here instead.
Hey, you know what would be kinda cool to see? A Steampunk THWOMP. Wouldn't that be awesome? I wonder if anyone could have seen something like... oh snap! ![]()
