Yes, of course it should. It needs to not be so linear. Almost completely open, and you can complete the dungeons, in almost any order, just be able to play your own game, and not have done the same exact thing in the same exact order as your friend.
Here- i posted this on the [insert name of gaming site] boards a while ago-

It needs to be more open and less "okay, it's time to do this dungeon. okay, you have to get this to get to the next part." We need to do whatever we want to do at a certain point and see what happens. It would be so cool if you would be able to say to a friend who also played throught the game "Well, I went through Hyrule Field and broke the wall at the end with the Mega Bomb to get into the Underground Caves, and it was the first dungeon I played." and your friend could reply "Wow, I did that dungeon last... and i had a Goron break the stone in the Enchanted Ruins, and then i crawled through the Underground Paths to get into it. I never knew you could get to it the way you did!"
It just seems like you should be able to make the game your own, and have a little more decision-making and less task-doing.

My theory for Zelda Wii-
The girl in the concept art is the living/spiritual incarnation of the Master Sword. She will change between Sword and human at her own will at first, aiding you with tips, etc. (like Midna) in her human form, and then obviously being your sword in, well, sword form. Later in the game you will get the ability to change her between her forms by yourself.
