i think that zelda games need better enemies becuase finding a moblin in hyrule field which just stands there doing nothing and lets you kill it with like one hit just feels very boring also there needs to be more enemies i mean just imagine in hyrule field you get to the top of a hill you look down to find a huge crowd of enemies one of them spots you blows the horn and all of a sudden they all chase you two choices run or stay and fight them off i just think it would be interesting and while we're at it better swordplay with more combo and flashy flips and stuff it'd be so cool anyway let me know what you guys think

Re: zelda needs better enemies
Lol, this is the best run-on sentence I've ever read.
But, speaking of enemies, I'd like to see something that is worth defeating or hiding away from. I'd love to see some stealth involved and way more enemies that would fight like the Gerudos in OoT or the Stalfos in more variations. |

Re: zelda needs better enemies
I agree, too. It would be refreshing to have a certain type of enemy for each region of the overworld, i.e. Farore would have wind-esque, highly agile, and stealthy monsters; Eldin can have earthly foes that are slow, but very powerful; and lastly, Lanayru can have the middle ground type of enemies, who are not too fast or too slow, but have their own unique fighting styles. Yes, this is how I think "Twilight Princess" should have been like, now that I have pondered it and gave thought for how the variations would have been like.

Re: zelda needs better enemies
I like the mention of stealth earlier. There should be enemies who are able to blend in with surroundings, ambushing Link when he least expects it. I would also like to see enemies work together better. For example, a moblin sneaks up behind Link and holds him while the other Moblins pummel him.
I think it would be cool(and a bit funny) if Link could catch them in the act of building contraptions and weapons; once spotted, a couple enemies would attempt to fend off Link, while the rest of them try to hurry up and finish building. Depending on how quick Link defeats the enemies, he can either halt the construction, or things will become more difficult for Link if the contraption is completed. |

Re: zelda needs better enemies
I think more flying enemies... like that spinning dirt blob in OoT's Hyrule feild.
or maybe different versions of the Moblins (e.g.: Green, blue, purple moblins)

better AI, yes. I still remember in WW when a moblin on a raft detected me. I crawled around for a bit and he followed me, but the he just gave up and started looking out the ocean again, ignoring me. I'm like "dude, WTH?! and then killed him for his ignorance.

Re: zelda needs better enemies
*Takes one step*
Game: *Screen spins* PEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Average Zelda Player: "Oh god damnit not again" In otherwords, no. I want enemies to naturally appear on the field, like they always have. Having random battles would just be taking away FF's thunder. Edit: I would, however, like to see some boss-esque battles on the field (not at the scale of a true boss battle, but like a mini-boss that acts like a normal enemy. For example, having a half-sized Twinmold in the Gerudo Desert would be a cool optional boss fight. You can avoid it, or attack it head on. I would also like to see more horseback battles. That was an underused aspect of TP that has so much potential.

Re: zelda needs better enemies
I think we'll be fine with the stable of baddies we have right now (with some additions of course). What's needed is to give them some presence. There was definitely a regression in enemies from MM/WW to TP. From a character design perspective, they just weren't intimidating at all. The main problem being was that TP Link simply towered over a good chunk of them.

Re: zelda needs better enemies
Yeah, the Garos are example of that, only I'd want it on a larger scale. Think Shadow of the Collosus only mini. Sometimes, later in the game, I'd even like to see boss sized battles that are in the wild, depending on where you are in the game. Even a band of Garos or a pack of giant Wolfos would be a cool addition. And don't worry, as long as I can understand you I don't care about spelling and grammar on the internet. And I can understand what you are saying, so you're in the clear.
