The future of Ganon

Has anyone posed the idea of Ganondorf playing mentor, or father figure, to a future LOZ title's Link? I know this idea wreaks of The Force Unleashed. However, perhaps it provides an opportunity to flesh out Ganondorf's character more, even as Ganondorf would be using the game's Link to further his (Ganondorf) own purposes, nefarious or otherwise. At least Ganny would be taking a different strategy to besting "Link," i.e., using Link as a pawn while also caring for Link, and (as I've similarly posed in my other posts, of which there are only 4, haha) it could simultaneously place Link, and us, in situations where Link's actions are far from altruistic, or, simply put, good.

Anyway, I haven't put great thought into this, but there it is. And like I asked, maybe someone has already posed the idea of a similar Ganondorf/Link relationship. I know in another thread in this forum, Zeldablue777 posed the idea of splitting Ganon's soul/essence, and perhaps pairing one of the personified pieces of Ganon's soul with Link (whether our hero knows or not).

Yeah I would love to see more Link/Ganondorf encounters... Make Ganondorf more like a rival or a guy thats always one step a head. A great example is the Oot where you defeat Phantom Ganon. Ganondorf randomly has a conversation with Link about how Link gotten stronger.

I always had the feeling Ganondorf was fond of Link's courage....
