The return of Majoras Mask

Who would enjoy this? I KNOW I would. (Becouse it would boost Skull Kids chances for SSB4) It would be a great game.

I wouldnt mind having the main villain being Majora's Mask, in MM all we know about it is that it was said to have been used by an ancient tribe in hexing rituals and that the troubles it cause were great enough that the ancient tribe feared it and sealed it away(we dont even know what dimension it could have been made and sealed away in). And so if another game had Majora's Mask as the main villain it could be about how it was sealed away.

I used to make these kinds of threads all the time, but nobody liked the idea. I doubt that they would just let the villain of the best zelda game so far,(Arguably. it scored a 9.9 with IGN, the highest score for a Zelda game yet.) just drift away.

Would it take place in the same place or would Majora find it's way into Hyrule somehow? Either way it would still be pretty awesome Hopefully if this game does happen they'll reveal more info on who/wha Majora is and where he/she came from and possibly tell us if Majoras connected to Fierce Deity(Who hopefully make make another appearance) in any way.

The only Prob. is that they can't use Skull kid again.

lol i would love for majoras mask to return,plus the fierce deitys maks& a tyhe other masks XD but i doubt they will yet, which sucks cuz if they redid OoT& MM for the Wii,heads would fly off in happiness i bet lol,plus any game wit Majoras mask as the villlian would be epic XD

I would love to see Majora's Mask return. It was awesome in MM with the whole destruction and "everyone must die" thing, and I want to see what else Nintendo can create with him.

With the technological advances today, they could give him more of a personality and make him more freaky.

Sorry, but you are wrong. The highest score for a Zelda game in IGN is Ocarina of Time; it scored a perfect 10.

Anyway, Majora's Mask is my favourite Zelda, and I would love to see Majora's return. It's very unlikely though.

... Majora's Mask was an awesome game, and an awesome villain, but I think it should be left at that. Using the mask again would kind of ruin it. What WOULD be cool is future games having references to the mask and the tribe that created it.

No. They should not now, nor ever, make a new version or sequel to Majora's Mask. Was it a great game? Yes, but it went through it's time and I say leave it alone. Same goes for Ocarina of Time. I wanna see new advancements and stories in LoZ, not a recycled version of a game. Twilight Princess was an exception though...

No. As much as I love Majora's Mask, I loved it because it was different. Remaking it or releasing something related to it would ruin it. New ideas are what we need.

Besides, they make it clear at the end of MM that Majora is dead.

As much as I would love for this to happen, I'd be too worried about them changing the game too much to fit casual gamers and younger audiences. I feel a remake or a sequel just wouldn't feel the same as the original. However, I would like it if a few of the masks were to make another appearance in other games. The masks were one of the best parts of the game besides the story itself. Maybe we could see someone from the tribe that created Majora's Mask. If they were as crazy as the mask during the boss fight, we'd have ourselves an amusing antagonist.

Because crazy villains are the best kind. (At least in my opinion.)

But Majoras mask is the SECOND, best zelda game rating wise. I think they could make it something new, which is what they seem to be trying to do. Not just the same old gannondorf.

No it wasnt... Twilight princess was... TP's average was around 9.7 and got game of the year. I Think Majora's mask ran around 3 or 4.

Majora's Mask was a fantastic one-shot.
Making the same thing again would be entirely pointless and completely destroy all of the charm of the game.

just cause TP got game of the year doesnt mean it doesnt SUCK!
TP just takes other ppls ideas& renders it as "their own"
its just a pretty picture with no storyline.

ocarina of time was the best, still is
but majoras mask is nearly as good (except its too short lol)
the mask itself still exists& they only said: "so the evil has left the mask."
which means hes still around.

i think if they updated OoT&MM itd make TP look as pathetic as it is.
and Majoras Mask was the best villian out of the entire series (ganon/ganodorf is used toooooooooo much) he needs to be reborn lol


BUT! dont get me wrong, TP for a game wit no storyline its at least worthy of the award that year.
but its tired& played out already. ilike the graphics,i think its beautiful, but they couldve done better if they told fans to shove it& wait a lil longer.
