Interwebz Mafia, anyone?

Here are the rules:



Players are put i two groups: either civilians or mafia. Those in the Mafia know who the other people in the mafia are, but the civilians dont know what anyone, either than themselves, are. Each round has 2 times: a day round and a night round. During the night, the mafia decide on who they want dead. I was thinking about how this would work over the interwebz and i think i got it.. The mafia PMs the mod of the game of the 3 people they want to kill, and the mod checks who the most common is and those die. In case of a tie or no common vote, the moderator chooses one off the list.

During the day, the civilians try and figure out who the people in the Mafia are (at this time the people in the mafia pretend to be civilians), and then vote to on who gets executed. That person is out of the game and then night comes around again...

This should go on for a while until the civilians kill of all of the Mafia, or the number of mafia member are greater than or equal to the number of civilians durring any day round.


Finally, each round lasts as long as was predetermined by the moderator of the game..

Im not sure if im missing any rules tho.. So, is anyone up for it?

Well, usually the mod would kill off each person the Mafia targeted, but this might make the game last a little longer.

I'll mod, unless someone has a problem with that. I just don't feel like playing the actual game, but I do feel like making up the "death" stories.

Jesus Christ, isn't there a different party game that can be played on the internet? Seems every time I turn around there's another mafia thread.

Well to start, it WOULD be good if we had more than 5 (or six) players. At least ten would be good.
