[T] Moonsaints [M]

My second novel, this one has no relation to Black Sky, enjoy:

Chapter 1: Their Story

Now the only thing to lead the people of the world are the shinning Moon and them. Law enforcement has been cut down to only 14, yes, 14 people to keep the world in order, but in the year 3500, anything’s possible. These men were all designated to a certain continent, two people per, and were given special guns and armor. The equipment is the only thing’s that separates these men from the normal people out their. Why these guy’s though? It goes down to their origin’s; all of them have some ancestor who helped shaped up the world the way it is now, so they are considered to have “Royal Blood”. Their not brother’s genetically, but we they are in their hearts; they look out for each other, and help keep each other and the world aligned. They are the Moonsaints, guardians of earth and armed to the bone.

Draco and his colleague Xavier, a tall man about my height that has black, shinning hair and is more buff than most of the other Moonsaints, were assigned to North America. Below them in South America are Kevin and James. Underneath those two in Antarctica are Shaun and Jack, who are equipped with more suitable attire for the weather. Europe is patrolled by Ryan and Roger, the “Big R’s” as the other’s like to call them. O’Malley, first name unknown, and Jasper are in control of Asia, the hardest job of all the content’s but they are the best men of the squad so it seems to balance out. Finally, Australia has Adrian and Zach watching the citizen’s with a careful eye and Africa relies on Ian and Cody to keep thing’s in order.

These men were also designed a uniform that all wore 24/7. This consisted of polished dark shoes, black slacks with a black belt that had a silver notch, and a white collard shirt that’s collar was always to be flattened down and never popped. A black vest covered all but the knot and the first few inches of their red ties, which was then topped of back a single breasted, always buttoned black jacket that held a red scarf in it’s left shirt pocket. They all also had the option of wearing black, circular sunglass with a golden frame and all carried two large, long pistols with them; one black and the other a shinning silver, and which carried over 50 bullet’s each. Some chose to wear body armor under the collard shirts, but those who felt it stopped their mobility chose otherwise.

It was decided by the U.N. back in 2900 to adopt this new system of police, with 14 men selected throughout the world that would best suit the job. Their descendant’s had to take over the job as did their father’s, and after 600 year’s of this system it seems to be working out, for now anyways.
