Couple Social Group Suggestions

First, adding pictures to a group is a rather circuitous pain. What typically happens is that I have a pic in mind for a group of mine, one that I can easily find online by using Google Images or even my own Photobucket account. But then instead of just importing it over, I have to save the image to my hard drive, and only then can I add it to my personal album, and only then can I add it to the group. That seems like an awfully lot of unnecessary steps, doesn't it? And this is operating under the assumption that album pics can only be uploaded from one's hard drive. Is it possible to upload from another webpage (or image hosting site such as Photobucket or ImageShack)? It should also be noted that a lot of my time logged in at ZU is spent while I'm at my work computer in the office, meaning I can't download anything to my hard drive at those times until I get home later that night. So is there an easier way to do this, or is it possible to streamline this and make it a bit more convenient to those of us who would prefer not to have to download all images and stick in random albums before putting them in our groups?

Second suggestion: All coding and formatting is turned off for the group descriptions on the social group pages (i.e. the box of text that you write in whenever you first form the group, which is the same field as "Edit Group" after the group is formed and you go back to edit the introductory field). Can we turn on the formatting codes for that please? It'd be great if I could use bold, italics, and smilies for those parts as well.

Thank you!

The flow of time is always cruel. Its speed seems different for each person, but no one can change it. A thing that doesn't change with time is a memory of younger days.

I agree with Rew. Someone should fix this.

The pictures thing is annoying, his idea is great.

Unfortunately, I can't fix either of those things at present. Default options don't allow me to modify the markup allowed in group descriptions, only in group postings. Same thing goes for group pictures. Eventually, though, we'll see.

It is a slight pain in the derierre. I mean, I don't want to have to create an album in my profile just so I can add images to my group. Having an album of retro console images in my profile seems pointless. Also makes the profile look kinda messy. Let us know as soon as you're able to work around this, Scott. ^_^
