Quick Username Question

Anakin Skywalker

I did some looking and I couldn't find any answers regarding this question.

I originally wanted my name as Anakin Skywalker (same as now but with a space between Anakin and Skywalker) but it wouldn't let me put in that many characters.

Since then, I've compared the character length to other usernames and they have more.

How come some people have more characters in their username than you can put in when you sign up?

Because the character limit for a created username is 15 characters, while the character limit for a username edited by the mods is like 50 characters. As for why, I don't know.

I'm sure if you explained to a mod why you didn't create your name like that in the first place, they'd change it for you.
