The joke is over, but there are still fake Banned Users

Alright, we all know that during the April Fools joke, some people (Myself included) faked being banned, and to do that, people were allowed to put the word "Banned" in their CRs.

However, despite the joke having ended about three weeks ago, people are still allowed to put the word "Banned" in their CRs, and there are still people that do.

It is annoying when you don't know who is really banned and who isn't. It can cause quite a bit of confusion, God of Twilight being a good example.

So, what I'm saying is that this should end. I'm asking that the word banned be censored in CRs again, except in the case of real banned users. This way, confusion can be avoided.

Not directly, but it is quite confusing. That's probably why it was blocked before in the first place.

It's easy to tell the difference between who's banned and who isn't.

Firstly, someone only pretending to be banned will have a signature, actual banned users won't have one available to see.

Secondly, if they didn't have a sig anyway, you can just click on their name and see if a button to PM them is there - if it is, then they aren't banned.

Not that it matters hugely in my opinion.

Anyway, the word "banned" used to be censored in the CR thing. What happened?

It was removed from the list of censored words during the April Fools joke, when they pretended to ban members of the "Resistance". They never put banned back on the list, however.

Can't we let that die? I didn't like him much either, and agree that the support groups for him are rather annoying, but if we ignore it all eventually these people will realize that the mods won't bring him back. Besides, its 3 months of peace from him bragging about brawl.

Anyway, does one word really bother you that much? I never even look at those things.
