Somes suggestions...

Hello, I'm not here since a long time, but I have some suggestions for the staff ^^

Firts, I would like to know if it was possible to create a special thread in General Chit-Chat, who will be a "free" thread.

For example, we will speak about our humor today, something happen during this day, and answer to the other about that, etc...

It's a little like the thread "Community Thread: The Edit Monkey is on Strike!", but more open to every sort of discussion. It will allow to the members to have a free discuss, to knowing the other better.

In the French forum of Zelda, we have put a thread like that in sticky, and today it's a very active thread (we overcame the 2000 pages ^^) which is very appreciate by the members. (we call it "3615 my life" at the beginning)

Of course, the flood will not be tolerate on this thread, and we'll have to answer to the other, not only make a monologue.

That's an idea I think interesting to submit here ^^

Then, I would like also to suggest some of new emoticones I found very nice :





Maybe they need to be retouch to are great with the back ground...

Anyway, what do you think about this suggestions ?

The kind of discussion I think you mean, is what we have going on in the clans here at ZU. Check out the Clan FAQ for more info on what the clans are all about, and how you are placed in a clan.

Basically, clans are a place for a lot more general chat than the main forums. They have community threads, scrapbook threads, gaming threads, and generally more fun and, dare I say, slightly more spammy threads. This all helps toward a closer knit community feeling.

also, mods don't listen about emotions, i asked where all the good ones went but they don't answer :/

Ok, I hadn't learn the clan's system. But maybe a thread like that will be appreciate for the members (like me, for the moment) who are no in a clan yet.

If you decide to join a clan, it's just a matter of time. Believe me, most people are already in one, so I honesetly don't see a need to have a thread out in General Chit Chat.

Some do, and some don't. We work with what we have. But if you truely want to give an expressive emoticon just post the miniature picture like you just did (sure it may be a little bit inconveniant on your end, but at least you'll get your message across).
