New Game Ideas (fanfics) blocking us Future Zelda

Argh! I'm sick of these threads!
Game Idea: The Legend of Zelda: Son of Evil
the Legend of zelda: the Side Of The Hour
Legend of Zelda: The Clockwork Blade
Legend of Zelda: Blade of Chaos
The Legend of Zelda: The Corrupted Fate

These are fan fics and annoying ones at that. All the future Zelda discussion is is people making up ideas for their own Zelda games anymore. It's hard to find the good threads anymore.

My thought: add a new subforum:
Plot Ideas

This way, actual speculation for future Zeldas, discussing control scheme, making items, who the next villian should be, and such things would be easier to find.

I mean really, why do people write out these plots and gameplay ideas? Are they going to make a game themselves? Are they hoping Nintendo will see this? Do they have nothing better to do? Whatever it is, it's annoying, repetitive, and in my opinion kinda spammy. The responses are almost always the same:
Person 1: "Nice job"
Person 2: "Cool I like the idea"
Person 3: "Nice, perhaps you could add this"
Me: "Congrats, you wasted your time on a fanfic that's not going to do anything." (not quite that harsh but the gist of it)

The third one on your list does read more like a fanfic than anything else, but the others actually specify that they're supposedly game ideas. A couple follow up with bits about items and the like, too.

Basically, i think a new sub-forum would be pointless, but I don't go to the Zelda section anyway.

I agree with Rhalen, although I do enjoy reading those "Game Ideas" I think that they should be seperated from speculation for future Zelda games, discussing future graphic styles, discussion of which characters you want in the next game and so on.

A subforum would be great, but it is only a minor issue and we already have a lot of subforums already so I doubt we will get one. It would be nice though.

I agree with Rhalen.
Most of the new ideas in the Future Zelda section are basically fan fiction. At times there are very good ideas, but most of them arent practical.

Perhaps not a subforum. Maybe a stickied thread. Anything really.

How about a stickied thread that shows all the previously-shared zelda game ideas in the history of ZU? You'd have to look there before sharing your not so original idea.
