When someone in I:SB (Or pretty much anywhere) presents a good argument, then the person he's debating with twists it to make the other person seem like an idiot, and uses a ridiculous counter-argument that makes no sense at all.

When it comes to I:SB, there are a lot of devil's advocates. That bugs me. Not quite trolling, but only there to bring up the opposite and cause contention.... or.. really good debates.

Haha, I love the I:SB. I get to follow standard argument procedure: Pick the most controversial side, and vehemently deny all opposing opinions. Switch sides mid-way through if necessary.

The I:SB works okay for me because I usually don't read any of the posts. I just walk in, state my opinion, and walk back out again. And since this is usually cheerfully ignored, me and the I:SB get along nicely!

I shall be driven mad by people who quote foot-long posts, and leave a one-line comment at the very end. Particularly in the Art and Writing board, when reviewers quote a 5,000 word chapter and round out the post with a, "Hey, that was cool. Update. ^_^"

Interestingly, I have a habit of quoting long passages of text in PMs. It thus follows that I am starting to drive myself mad. It's a lovely cycle.

I actually like the I:SB, especially GDwarf--and I think Guy Westcott's a good chap too, for the most part. Also, I enjoy playing the devil's advocate in there. It causes people to think, and it's a good intellectual challenge for me too. There, have I essentially offended everyone who's posted so far?
