However, arguing against ideas you have without using personal attacks is perfectly fine.

It isn't personal attacks that are the problem. The problem is people like liquid fire and tempest who go around treating the Bible like ****. Then there's the lack of understanding of even the most basic concepts of religion, saying the Bible endorses mass murder, rape, and the like, when it actually just cites these things, and the always futile, "let's mix and match scripture to contradict itself." When in reality, if the verses were taken in context there would be no contradiction what so ever.

I mean really, I spend a lot of time looking up sources to support my arguments, and find it insulting to a very high degree that others just come in, and say a bunch of ignorant crap. Saying the Bible doesn't mention space. I mean really, would it kill these people to look on google for 2 minutes? Perhaps if they actually had knowledge of christian doctrine (most of the big facts) and actually had firmly grounded arguments, I could argue more civily, but as is, just because I use the Bible, they refuse to acknowledge that I have valid points. (is this just me, or does it seem fairly accurate?)

Press the "back" button, it should be in the navigation toolbar.

Or you can go to the buttom to the forum jump bar.

Or you can scroll down a bit, and click "Top." I just press back and refresh the page...Easier.

Or you can put a link to ZeldaUniverse main forum page in your link bar at the top and just click that =D

On my PC, I just press the home button (The one on the keyboard, not the browser). That'll take you to the top of the page.

The general lack of quality when it comes to threads and posts.

Why the hell do we need threads like this? And with 140 (and counting) posts, no less.

It's also aggravating to see members with 1,000+ posts, only to realize that most of them are just "I agree" or "lol k"; irritatingly short posts that almost never contribute to a conversation.

Leave it open, get complaints like this. Close it and get called "the fun police." The trick is to stay out of threads you have no interest in, and create threads that you think are interesting if you feel they are lacking.

I agree

When mods claim a problem isn't as bad as a lot of members say to make it seem like they are doing their job to a good degree. And when they say "provide examples to the problem" as if they haven't noticed any problem at all even though the problem is so obvious and is in their own section they mod so they should know more than anyone.

My intent, at least, is not to "make it seem like [I'm] doing [my] job." I'm genuinely curious. I'm pretty sure that I've done at least a decent job, but I do miss things, so if you'd bring those things to my attention I'd be happy to address them.

It's also a useful way to weed out hyperbole. Often times a person can't provide examples, because there are none. They insist that a mod isn't doing their job, and that they should be replaced, but can't provide any examples of the mod not doing what they're supposed to. So, "innocent until proven guilty" and all that.

That answers your second point also, I think.

I was kind of being sarcastic, however there was some sincerity in my previous post. You can't pretend the problem does not exists, because many members whine about it. On the other hand, members who are easily offended often exaggerate the problem.

But I respect your holy mod-ness, it just sometimes seems that some mods don't notice a blatant problem or just don't care enough.

Nonono, not "holy mod-ness", respect is earned, not given.

History is full of benevolent groups becoming...less benevolent because people just accepted them without question. Let's not have that happen here.
