What's that? I didn't hear you. You'll have to requisition that I hear it, then let it pass through the several other departments of higher power than you.

I could put it through your office several times until it's been through enough red tape, but we all know that would be a monumental waste of time - and higher-ups only bother with red tape when they want to annoy someone.

The grammar nazi department says that you should request to speak with him, and not requisition.

The Department That Actually Speaks English thinks that it's more a concern of the Dictionary Tribunal than the Grammar Nazi Department. We have lodged a complaint about your poor handling of the situation with the approproate authorities.

The Grammar Nazi Department feels that the complaint is an unnecessary amount of red tape being pressed onto it, and has therefore lodged a counter-complaint with the Bureaucracy Bureau to have the original complaint omitted.

Unfortunately, the Bureaucracy Bureau dissolved itself last week because it's function wasn't narrow-minded enough to allow the required amounts of paperwork to be processed. So that every task it oversaw has the required number of forms and reports properly filled out, it split into some seventeen other groups, all equal to it in size, and squeezed them all into the same amount of space.
