Post wrap thingies.

I'm sorry if this question was asked before, but I did search it up, and found nothing. Maybe I just searched for the wrong thing...

Anyways... I have a question.

Maybe I was on crack when I was using these, but I once was a member on a forum (that was vB 3, the same as this one), and I'm pretty sure in the 'Edit Options' part of the User CP, it had something about post wrap thingies. (I don't remember what they were called exactly.)

It was a box, and you could, for example, but this:

[/COLOR=Insertcolorhere][/color]

Etc, etc.

(Except not with the dash at the beginning and you had to add the quotation marks.)

And then from that point on ALL of your posts you posted would be that colour, and size you placed in the box, and would be bolded, of course.

I was wondering if this forum had that option, even though it's clearly not in use.

Even if you don't have it... it does exist right? xD

Do you get what I'm trying to ask?



Any help, replies, etc would be appreciated.

No, you have to do that to each and every indivdual post. There is no option that allows all of your posts to be the colour you want or the size you want, you have to do it all manually, though, it would be nice if they had that

Well, I know that, but I once was on a vBullitein board that DID give that option. I swear it.

I'm glad we don't have that. It'd get quite annoying if it was that easy. Also, with all the different skins on the site with varying levels of brightness, not all the colors are good for everyone.

Yeah, I agree with the prof, cause frankly dark green doesnt show worth a damn on the green skin

Yeah, I was thinking that, and it would interfere with the Battle Arena, etc, in some way. (Becasue people like to change the colours of text for certian characters.)

I'm fairly certain I've seen a forum hack/option like that on another forum, although to be honest, people really didn't use the feature, which is more than I can say for this forum, even though we don't have the feature.

As said by Professor Wackenheimer and avyuir, chaning the colour of your text gets old, fast, especially if you use an obscure colour only visible on certain skins. The best thing to do is only to colour your text in certain circumstances and to leave things at default for normal posts. It's easier, and it stops us all from going blind.

Nope. Everyone hates it muchly.

If you search your posts, you might find that threads that you said a big block of text in that I replied to have been edited, with one of the color tags broken.

I have noticed at least one occasion of that.
