Public domain Zelda music, a suggestion for ZU

I noticed you're planning on starting a section for soundtracks and I have been gathering some of the better 'remixes' and public domain versions of well known music. I also have a wide selection of orcastrated music. What just made me realise this might be valuable is that I just downloaded a very impressive orcestrated version of the Darkworld music from ALttP which is currently sendinga pleasent tingle down my spine

Let me know if you're interested in getting a hold of some of these.

(edit: Oh and btw, I just got a beautiful rendition of a peice of music from the Wind Waker made by someone called Darkesword. Now if they had used this as the final credits music in the game it would have been a real reward!)

(another edit: found his offical website, this guy has real talent!

Thanks for the link to Darkesword's site, I've always liked his work.

Here, you might be interested in thi post of mine:
Game music remixes.

Though I am sure you already know this, I just want to point it out anyways: Posting one of these remixes on a site without the author's permission, whether proper credit is given or not, would be considered plagiarism. So ZU couldn't just take your collection and stick it on the site or anything

EDIT: Moved to comments/suggestions/feedback forum. Or whatever it's called.

Well the Mp3's have titles on them so it only takes a bit of searching the net to see if there's an email address to be found. If you can't then it's up to you, me personally if they can't be contacted then I'd go ahead and post it since most amatuers like sharing their music and aren't uptight enough to hold a grudge because you wanted to make their music more available.

Oh, I know. In fact, you could probably find most of them at one of those sites I mentioned in that post I linked too.

However, it should still be kept track of.

There was some not listed on those site which I came across on kazaa, oddly enough someone even tried passing off the LoTR soundtrack called Requim for a Dream as being for the next Zelda game.

Hahaha. Actually I'm pretty sure that Requiem for a Dream track wasn't even meant for LOTR, originally... heh.

Well... me moving this topic to this section seems to have killed discussion. I apologize.

Requiem for a Dream is just the trailer theme for The Two Tower. The remix version, at least. The original version is much older.
