Competition suggestion...

I was thinking...

Wouldnt it be an interesting thing on this site...to have a Timeline Theory competition? In some sort of thread or mailbag type of thing...with either votes or a particular group of judges...

Many people would take part and it could be exciting...

We could have one every year, or every season...or twice a year...the winner would get a nice prize...

I think we've pretty much went over the timeline so much that it's trampled into the ground.

hm. Sounds an awful lot like the "Best Theory" catagory for the ZU awards. Look around there, and I think they have a 'suggestions box'

but we don't know where the next zelda will be in the timeline, do we?

That doesn't prevent anyone from making a timeline theory on the games that are already made :rolleyes:

Anyway, I don't really think many people would take part. It takes a lot of work to do a whole timeline, at least one that is properly thought through. You have to be able to argue your case properly. Not just say, "I just think so...". You really have to think it through.

And, when it comes to the timeline, I don't trust the judgement of the people who would end judging anyways.

The closest you will wind up to getting this done is by making sure somehow that only good timeline theories are made, even though most resemble eachother very much and then haviing them all good enough that people feel compelled to enter them as nominies for the 'Best Theory' award in the ZU awards.

I mean the fic thingy is also hard, and yes people do it. People like challenges. I would be interested in doing a timeline if a competition popped up.
