Description:
This is so dumb. Every time I have to go to ZU by typing "zeldauniverse.net/forums" in the address bar, it leads me to some stupid page. I'm not an idiot, I'm spelling it right. Every time I hand-type the site's URL, flawlessly, it leads me here. What the hell.

It pisses me off.

Try typing: zeldauniverse.net/forums/ They also should put in that extra slash anyways.

Oh. Well, then.

Webmasters, can you make it so that zeldauniverse.net/forums redirects to zeldauniverse.net/forums/?

It does it for me all the time. Well, scarcely, because my cookies and milk (=P) are here and I just type in www.ze and I get a list of every Zelda Universe thread, post, site or anything I've seen or been to.

EDIT: Wow, it took "www.ze" for a real link, click it, see what comes up! =P

Use "www." It won't kill you.

As for what causes it, I'll see about fixing that now.

Description: I keep trying to make a thread with a poll, but each time, I am redirected to a page that only has this on it:

When I go back, the thread has been made, but there is no poll. I have tried this 4 times now with the same results each time.

Name: Automatic [googletalk]

Date Discovered: Unknown; late last year, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's been around longer.

Priority: Low

Description: Whenever I go to Edit Profile, It automatically puts [googletalk] into the Google Talk Handle field. It can be removed before saving the profile (which is why it's low priority), but it needs to be done every time the profile is edited. I'm not the only person with the problem either.

Other people I've seen with the problem are (in a semi-random order) Zeldax3, Aeffles, Desquode, Poe Black, Iroas, Bobby Emerald, Quark, Laika, avyuir, Lly, Exarius, Puck, Kitsune, Kiriyama... I'm sure I could list many more.

Forseti - Perhaps it's just because ShikaIno is only 8 letters and the forum requires 10?

And Sabbo is bringing up the still unfixed bug which I'm assuming is directly linked to the other pile of odd GTalk/messenger stuffs which is still being ignored...

Markup (that is, BBCode) doesn't count toward 10 characters.


Creating a poll is supposed to take you to a new page to set up the poll. If a database error prevents that, you have 5 minutes from the time of thread creation to add a poll to it. (The option should be in "thread tools" at the top of the page when you're looking at your thread.)

This is something I noticed a long time ago (by which I mean earlier this month) and posted in the Din Clan. It isn't even slightly annoying, but I decided I'd post it here anyway. =D

Description: Some, or maybe all, threads (especially new ones) seem to have trouble keeping track of how many views they have, even though they can count posts just fine. This only happens in the User CP list of new subscribed threads though. The screenshots should clear up any confusion.

Thread views update every couple of hours. If they updated with every impression, the site would go a lot slower. I can make it do that, I'm just not going to.

Description : I noticed that two posts in a thread had the same number. Maybe they were made at exactly the same time or something? Who knows. I have a screenie :

That post by God of Triforce was deleted by God of Triforce. I suspect that the numbering thing is mostly a fluke: Really good timing on your part on the clicking.
