Downloaded BS Zelda and the SNES emulator, but it wont work

Yes, it's the wrong forum, and on top of that, ROMs are illegal, and thus discussion about them is against the Rlues.

Only linking to ROM's is banned on the forums, not discussing them... I think...

I've PM'd the mods - they can decide if this is allowed. Actually, it may be, considering the rarity of BS Zelda, but I'm not one to decide.

The ROM for this is actually offered on the site, obviously he downloaded it off ZU and it isn't working for him.

Hmmm.... If you are using ZSNES, I know for a fact that BS Zelda works like crap on that emulator, as I've tried it. I suggest you have a look around for different SNES emulators, thats all you can do. Another good one is called SNES9x, although I haven't tried BS Zelda on that one yet.

What's he thinking? Probably nothing at all. Considering that Remus is the one who's in charge of the message boards, I presume that it's his decision, not AnakiN-'s. I'd go as far as to wager that he doesn't even know that the site has it available.

well, we had a bunch of sonic beta stuff up here before (yoshi put it up, i believe), but, like bs zelda, it's neither available publicly in any form or sold by any company...

I don't know about special cases like BS Zelda... but normally, it is illegal. UNLESS you own the game, and ripped the ROM yourself. Even if you own the game, it is illegal to download ROMS.

Yup, Sonic 2 BETA. And now I recently found out that they recently dumped a press release demo of SONIC 1 for the Game Gear.

Oh, the law is that after 75years after the games production, the owner of the copyright no longer owns it.

Yep...of course, Emulators are completely useless without ROM files. North America...home of the stupidest laws in the world (it's true).

hehe i wont discuss locations of roms here but if you must know SNES9x works perfectly with bs zelda. go to URLEDITEDOUT, sign up there, and download it.
