Wrong Information on the site!!

In the section of the site where you guys explain things about every race in Hyrule (for example: Hylian, Gerudo Gorons etc) you guys clain that the Hylians look a lot like humans, meaning they're "not" which is wrong because Hylians are in fact humans. Prove of this is in TP when you are in the wofl state and try to change back Midna asks "Change back to HUMAN form??"

How do you explain the long ears of the Hylian race?

sure they look like humans but there not.

they are humens man check out what I said in the game you can transform into wolf form and HUMAN form not Hylian form.

Actually, it says change into the FORM of a human, so he's really neither.

And does it really matter that much?

It isn't really all that important you know.

It may not be important but it's true. I always thought the hylians were humans just a different race. Just like Alantiens(sp?) were humans but far more advanced.

"Human" in that sense is a generic. Like "humanoid," as you'd here quite often in sci-fi shows (and talking about robotics sometimes). Therefore, to say Hylians are not human is not wrong.

1) this is not a bid deal
2) FORM of a human
3) they really aren't humans because they have magic
for example:
A witch is like a human but she is not because she can do magic.
A Wizard is like a human but he is not because he can do magic.
Hylians also have the ability to wield magic. They hold the same shape as humans do just like witchs and wizards. Therefore they are NOT humans, just "like" humans.

I hope that makes sense.

I stand neutral on whether or not Hylian = Human, but it could go either way. "Human" is a general term for humanoid, and a Hylian could be a specific race of human, or they could be humanoids. I do not think that their ability to use magic identifies them as inhuman however.

I don't believe Hylians to be Humans in the traditional sense of the word. In Twilight Princess, check out the Ordonians, they have normal ears as opposed to the long and pointy elf ears of Hylians.

Well the ability to use magic defines witchs and wizards so why not all other things that can use magic? At the moment there really isn't any other thing the makes a Hylian different from a human so my theroy still makes some sense.

all that this shows is that Link in TP is not a full blown Hylian he may be a distant relative of the Hylians but is human for the most part.

....anything that walks upright with two legs is a human.

It's like in evolution, Neanderthals are humans!

He's a human. His race is hylian.

Like, "look at that black man eating the fried chicken and watermelon."

"Look at that Mexican not working."

"Look at that white man. Is he? Yes, he's going into the gap."

Are all three humans, well due to the lack of evidence against the first example, all three are.

So Link is a hylian and a human. Live with it.

Well it dose say in Oot what he is after you beat the forst temple in your adult from.......the baby deku tree says hes a Hylian

Let me ask you this:
Is a wizard a human?
Is a witch a human?
Is 'human' a title given to something or someone? Or is it just one thing?
Are 'witch' and 'wizard' titles given to something or someone?

It makes complete sense that because hylians can wield magic, they are not human.
They just hold the same body type like witches and wizards do.
