Unfair closing of topics!

I would like to complain about a topic being closed a valid disscion that was going on a few mintues again.

Enough of the group thread garbage. Make your timeline threads, not your group threads. Have a nice day.

(I honestly don't care that you're double-using this thread, so don't whine to me that it's "discussing timelines.")

This thread was closed because o his personal believes! Not because the thread was a bad one we where discussing within the threads topic, groups and timeline! SO unless the MOD has a good reason for closing the topic I don't think it is right that topics can be closed just because they don't like it!

Thanks for the support Lost_souls, but I do think the thread closing was partly my fault. I hadn't read the rules since I returned to ZU, so I wasn't aware of the group thread rule.

"Groups" do not get their own threads. This is a simple law of the land. That, if you look, happened to be a thread of that sort. Carry on your discussion elsewhere.

I noticed this too and wondered how UWM and ZBT came to be.

Your signature is a wonderful tool. You can put this phrase "If you want to join the so-and-so-weiner club, PM me for details" and magically, PMs will appear for people to join.

I think if enough people join and have a right purpose, then maybe timeline groups should get a sticky in the Timeline forum to discuss their group goings ons and such.

But that would require things like planets exploding at your whims.

I think I have an extra 1500 or so PM left before my PM box explodes. I also tend to read mine daily and wouldn't mind stickying threads that are worth it.

Meh. I have more PMs in my inbox than you, and when mine gets near full, our inboxes are getting bigger, so I don't think you'll have an exploding inbox problem.

Ah I see you where closing it due to the group beginning... I was mad because I was having a very detailed discussion with LoZ historian and then right in the middle I get the note that we can't do it here any more... and the way Scott said it sounds so much like he was doing just because he could, oh well.

I think that, that isn't a bad idea. I mean think about it you could have a place where people can do their advertisting and a place where people can do group debates on a topic in teams! of course you will always get those werid group that are like hey everyone join the We-are-newbish-weiners! groups but that is kind of unstoppable and you will probably get those anyway.

I seriously doubt there will be a forum like that.

Sections where you are debating things of a certain group always seem to attract spam. Even if you were strictly dicussing one topic and following the rules, that could easily be done in the respective forum. For example, the narutards group could just discuss that in the anime section. Which I advice you against.

EDIT: I've also noticed that in your 'ZBT' thread you were spamming and talking about completely irrelevant topics. That might have something to do with it being closed.

When I said the we-are-newbish-weniers club I meant that as a spam thing. If you guys really wanted to make it so that we don't just do it to get more posts you could do what you did for the clans and make there posts not count toward the total!That would really cut down on the spammers.
