Yes, user made videos should go there as single posts in the forum section.

Wacom tablet things, and colored drawings, would still go in the Art section, as that's what they are.

Oh yeah, missed that. Just put it where you'd like for that, to be honest. Either one is correct.

I guess it'd didn't classify under the Art or Writing forum? Or was it just getting so full we needed some more space?

why not just call it... digital media....


However, video work is well, considered to be 4D artwork, art that deals with time, and it is apparent that the SoI forums are for primarily 2D work.

Of course, not many people on the zelda forums make 4D work, so until that point I guess videos could go into the SoI forums.

But then, what about animations? I can understand work done in flash and toonboom and some celshaded work would fit perfectly in the SoI/digital media. But well, I don't use digital means to make my animations, all are completly hand drawn...

SoL is any dimention art. The only reason why it is primarily 2D is because that is mostly what is on ZU. If you wish to post 3D or 4D art there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Just to put this straight. It is your decision where you would like to put your art. But the Art forum is primarily for Traditional art now.

I just do not want any traditional art in the graphics forum and I will be strict about that. As for your hand drawn animations, that is a flip-flop situation. Things like that, again, are your decision. As for real life movies, those go in SoI. The art mods can decide what they want.

Being a regular contributor to the previous signature chit-chat, with tutorials and criticism amongst other things, I am glad to see this open on ZU.

Just hope it's active enough : )
