Profile Problems

This may have been already solved in some other thread, but I couldn't find it in the search results, so I apologize if it has. Anyway, I haven't been able to access the "Profile" part of the "User CP", therefore, I cannot change anything in my profile. Since finding this problem on my laptop, I have traveled to my grandma's house and the same problem has shown up. The screen says something to the effect of "Gateway Timeout" or something. If its not my computer or internet connection (my grandma's computer uses dial-up and my laptop uses cable/DSL), what could it be? I hope someone can help me out here, I really want to change my profile around.

I heard that had something to do with AOL, but I'm not sure. That problem has been popping up with a lot of users lately, I think.

Thanks for responding to this thread, people. I have since changed to Internet Explorer or MSN for my profile needs. Again, thank you all for suggesting that I change which type of internet I use.
