Why can't I edit my posts?

Earlier today I could edit my posts. But when I got on today it said my sig was to big. And know I can't edit my posts. Is my ig the reason I can't edit my posts? Im trying to get my sig picture fixed so I can use it but I had to make another post because the link was not working right on my first post when I tried to get my friend to fix my pic.
