ZU and Wii Compatibility

Whoo. First post in this section.

Anyway, my question may be fairly irrelevant, but for those of you who have a Wii, can you tell me if ZU is Wii compatible? It'd be great. Slightly inefficient considering typing isn't easy, but still cool. If it isn't, then I address our esteemed webmaster, Scott, directly with a request to add compatibility.

Yes, it is compatible with it.

Wii internet channel

That thread shows a bunch of people who have typed messages with the Wii. It's not that slow, but the text is kinda hard to read (even zoomed in), but it is possible, though don't expect to be typing any long threads with it. Hope that helped.

So, how will the ISP change?

Posting on all message boards works just fine from the Wii Browser.

Very muchly. My thanks. I'd have waited and found out myself, but I'm having difficulty connecting to the Wii Shop channel, which means I can't download the Opera beta just yet. Wish me luck. << *Attempts to connect once more*

You can post on message boards, type out emails and the such. The only thing you can't do (i've seen) is use enter based chat rooms (like IRC).

I haven't tried AIM though, yet... :XD

Also, be aware things like youtube won't always work do to file types. And if you have trouble seeing text here, press + (zoom) while your pointing at someonex location thing. It zooms in better for some reason.

I'm typing this on Wii. Despite the occasional bug, It's awesome.

Let me know if anything else cool happens. I want to buy a Wii due to its lower price than the ps3, but there aren't many games on it I like. If you care, keep me posted. XP ... Or maybe I'll stop being lazy and look for things myself.

The Wii browser should interpret the site and forums fine, and even alot of flash sites should work well. The only thing I've noticed is the site is a bit large for most tv resolutions, but that is just because the site uses fixed widths.

Btw, you have USB ports in the back of the Wii, anyone try plugging in a keyboard??
