Scarecrow Issue

I'm sorry, but when StonyLonesome graciously waits for her temp. ban to lift, and apologises to everyone when she returns...and then this guy was temp. banned for flaming, creates close to 10 accounts to flame and insult people, goes to the ZU Chat under the name "SuperDecimal" and tries to convince everyone he's me, and says that he'll be raped by his uncle if he can't get on ZU - he does'nt deserve to be here.

If he waited patiently like Stony, no problem, but he caused so many members so much pain - **** him.

he aplogized, you can even ask sugar. And he apologized many times before in this very thread.

Personally, you stand up for your friend, and I congradualte you - that's a beautiful thing, and the guy is lucky to have you as a friend, but he's caused so much **** - it's enough to get over 30 warnings, which is around banning 10 members...which I think is the number of flame accounts he made.

I gave him every chance, whether he knew it or not.

No more.

If you have a problem, PM another mod - cos frankly, as far as Screcrow is concerend, I don't give a ****

I hope the Farorians will forgive my intrusion, but I feel I've got to comment on the DK issue in general.

First off, he was temp-banned, had he waited for a few months he could have come back with a clean record. What does he do instead? He proceeds to make alternate accounts, flame people, impersonate mods, and generally tried to cause havoc. I'm sorry, but an apology just isn't enough.

You then try to demonize the mod team. I can assure you that if you had PMed me about this, and explained his side of things that I would most certainly have looked at it and, had some injustice been committed, would most certainly have brought it to the attention of the other staff members. I know that every other person on the staff would do the same.

If you feel that any member of the mod team simply isn't doing a good job then you can PM another mod about it, don't try and lambaste them in public. before you reply that you're issue isn't with a single mod think about this: If you feel that the entire staff is made up of uncaring idiots then it doesn't make much sense to say that, does it? Evidently you feel that at least some of the staff can be trusted to care, so you could contact them, no?

Anyways, I apologise again to the Farorians for posting here, but I hope you'll agree that this is a fairly serious accusation, and I wanted to address it.

first off he contacted leminnes about this matter when he got banned. he even sent pictures. that is a little extreme, but he did it, for he thought he would be allowed on ZU as lemm promised. Again, he is sitting right next to me.

For the sake of sparing the Farore CT, but making sure the issue is dealt with - here's the thread to officially "have this out" so to speak.

Sure, he sent me a picture of him and his cousin and they looked exactly alike but other then that, there's no way for me to get them back since he direct connected them to me. Also, he repeatedly IMs me from his "cousin's" IM even after his cousin has obviously left his house. I've talked to eric about this and I'm pretty sure him and I have agree to keep him banned and if he had waited out his ban willingly then we would let him back but obviously he hasn't done that which proves he does not have the maturity to be allowed on this forum again.

No, DK shouldn't be allowed on the forums. He fooled me twice. First as I told SD, he pretended to be all nice. And then one day he goes berserk. He starts saying I have a big ego, and that I am a bitch, for no reason at all. So. I blockified him on MSN. His friend persuaded me to un-block him.

So I did. You know what he did? Right as I un-blocked him, he starts calling me names all over again. So blocked him again. BAM. Done.

So then this little FrogMan comes along and adds me, not even knowing me! And he starts talking about me being pretty and all this bullcrap. So, he wants me to adopt him and nominate him for coolest noob.

Well, after that convo, he starts talking trash about SD. So naturally I stick up for him. He starts doing the EXACT same thng DK did to me. So, I PMed SD and he checked out his profile and...BAM...he was scarecrow! O.O

So he knows it was me who told... and when he signs onto MSN...I'm going to hell to pay.

Ok Scarecrow is over my house now. Anyway. Is he permabanned for this?

But, I have another thing to say. I've known other members who have multiple accounts as well. N64 (now Riot) openly admitted he had two. Scarecrow as also told me that Leminnes also had two because he (1) IM'd Scarecrow and (2) told him he was ZeldaReality. Also he basically wanted to keep going on ZU and that's why he made multiple accounts. If you've already heard him say, it's the other members ignorence that makes him pissed off. Also the last of his accounts he made weren't bad at all because he wanted to stay on here aswell because he thought he was permabanned on Scarecrow. But with the last (2 I think) accounts he had, nobody would have known that was him because he was different and nicer.

Thats not the point, its the fact that he came back with multiple accounts after he was banned. We told him he wasn't allowed but didn't listen and continued being an arse. He dug his grave now he has to lay in it.
Scarecrow. Tough **** to you. If you had the maturity to wait you may be back but no.

As for the point of members with other accounts, we will address them accordingly.

Yes, Scarecrow is permabanned, for creating multiple accounts (against the rules, instant-ban), flaming (against the rules), and trolling (Aslo agains tthe rules)

These will, of course, be looked into. However, one person breaking a rule doesn't make it OK for others to do it, does it?

I've been annoyed by other member's ignorance, yet you'll note that I don't go around insulting them. The correct solution would've been to try and show them how they were ignorant, being polite all the time.

He would get an e-mail saying that it was only a temp ban, it could be easy to forget, but that's still hardly an excuse for a prolonged attack on the forums, now is it?

Do you know how he was caught? He'd flame people with his new accounts, mods would do an IP search, see that he was scarecrow and ban him.

I'm sorry, but Scarecrow just doesn't have a leg to stand on. He was temp-banned for breaking the rules, and then proceeded to repeatedly break them over and over, which resulted in him getting a permanent ban. Had he simply waited out his temp ban (or, better yet, not got banned at all) then he could still be here posting. However, his actions after his temp-ban are really unforgivable, even if he was angry, so perma-banned he will stay.

And, if I may add, after this incident, I am confident that at some point in the future, Scarecrow will once more create a new account.
Now, whether or not from you he hears this, and out of spite discontinues his affiliation for ZU, then that's fine, but should he indeed create another account; either way, he loses.

GDwarf is totally correct, the only times a mod will ever check and IP is when a member is suspiciously similar to another in;

• Post Style,
• Public Profile information,
• Private Profile information

Let's use a real-life example that is recent.

Josh/Yungsung was found to have to multiple accounts and a history of spam with both (Duku Dude and Shadomere) and as punishment, one was banned indefinately, and as punishment, his other accounts was temporarily banned.

Upon his return after the temporary ban lifted, he was told to use only one account, and by following our rules, he's absolutely in the clear now.

Everyone on ZU is fully aware of the plethora of accounts made by Scarecrow, and the the chaos that came with.

Had he patiently waited for his ban to ift, he's be in the clear, but he seemingly did everything he did to get himself banned forever.

I'm not sure about DekuQueen, butI personally took being impersonated on the chat to be a great insult - especially seeing as he was trying to make people believe he was me, to ruin my name, even though he was convinced my name was "John" after members told him that was SD's name.

Fool.

Guys, I for some reason I really don't like having this subthread here. It could just be my meds. but I really think this should be taken to PM or to Questions/Suggestions.

SD and GD I love yall but I'm going to say this:

Firelight is kinda right. Yall are really bashing in on DSL9 and scarecrow. A simple PM would have solved this. You tell DSL9 the down low on the situation and tell him thats that or, if he doesn't like the decision, to take it to a higher mod.

This thread reminds me of the Rost of Kittie Rose. I think a few people remember that.

I'm sorry if people dislike me for posting this, but I think it was neccisary. You wont here another word about the subject from me, unless its in PM. (Where this probably should have taken place)
