Mod Powers Returned

I just noticed somthing very unfair. Why do mods that left get their powers when they return. It is not very fair. If you are a mod and you leave, you give the powers up. I think it is bull that all the mods coming back get their powers back. Dont lock this because it breaks no rules and isnt dissing any mods...........:mad:

Yea, I also agree that it isnt very fair. Just becuase they return, doesnt mean they should get their mod powers back.

Think of the mod's "leaving" as more of a break. It's not like the forums are then inaccessible to them, it's just possible they can misinterpret what should be a break for themselves as a permanent departure. This applies to regular members as well.

Edit: Oh, and usually when we give the mods back their powers, we add a new mod too. Like Mercutio along with Mystic and The Merchant. Though they would deserve their powers back when they returned anyway.

Sorry remus but i have to disagree..........I talked to ozzy awhile back and he specifly said "I promised to myself I will never set foot in ZU again" Also breaks are a couple of weeks, maybe am month tops............but not many months...........and in their threads it didnt say "going away be back soon" it said "Im leaving ZU, goodbye" 0_0

Breaks can last any amount of time.

If the staff decides someone deserves their mod powers [back], it happens. It's the effectiveness of dictatorship. O.o

Edit: Apparently, I'm wanted to hold a grudge against Ozzy, but I don't hold grudges. Even when I try. o_O

Oh, and just to make this clear: The staff members are the administration of the ZU forums; whatever happens, that holds true. Thus, at any given time, whomever is within the Staff is going to have power over the forum members that are not. They WILL have the last word.
