Should ZU make an Important thread with the I'm Leaving and I'm Back! sort of stuff?

Yes I think we should, unless Merc is gonna merge it with the ZU Community Thread. And anyways, even if he doesn't, there must be like a page of goodbyes and hellos. So I think we should make one.

No. The whole point of making your own leaving/coming thread even when it is explicitly prhoibited by the rules is that you get more recognition. It would end up being the same thing. The thread would get long, not such a large and diverse group would use it, and people would start making their own threads anyway. Thats a no for me. The best way to make a rule work, if you want it to, is to enforce it, not create machinations to lessen it.

Nope. That's one of the reasons they invented the CT. If the CT wasnt there, there'd be quite a bit of im leaving/im back threads. It's not like it needs its own thread, either.

When did saying that you were leaving/getting back be against the rules? Maybe they changed while I was gone...

Technically all leaivng/back topics belong in CT, thus it would be a breach of the rules, right?
