ZeldaUniverse Educational!

I've just noticed something, ZeldaUniverse is incredibaly educational! It has improved my grammer, punctuation and sentence structure, and I'm much more intelliagant with computers and organising and just making things look nicely set out etc.

Take a look at this, it was my first ever post here at ZeldaUniverse (you can check by going to your post list and going to the last ever page)

Hi i'm new
whats your worst zelda game out of OOT,WW and MMand... em d :embrsd: oes anyone know if the nintendo DS can link to the gamecube?
Thats an exact copy of my first post. ^ As you can see the difference between that and now is massive, in my opinion, thats a very n00bish post. I typed that when I was in my early 12's. Now I'm in my middle 12's, and look how much its improved! And I'm telling you, I learnt nothing in english at school, seriousely. I knew I learnt it all from here, better sentence structure the dash (-) the use of ; and brackets. It has educated me so much. So thank you so much ZeldaUniverse! Oh and did I mention I got more Zelda knowledge and advice on my love life/general life advice. I've really learnt a lot from my four months of been here. In just four short months my writting and english has turned from the n00bish post above to this post now. So thank you so much ZeldaUniverse!

I think it was, seriousely. My english teacher was horrible this year, she just did her paper work half the time, and let the kids chat all lesson. She wasn't strit enough and just let people talk, a bad teacher in my opinion. And the work that was set was completely pointless, copying out passages and correct minor, baby things. Most lessons were a waste of time.

Re: ZeldaUniverse Educational!

ZU has helpped me too. one of the rules is to user proper grammer, and punctuation. ZU has helped me write better, but I also have a better imagination. My english teacher noticed the difference. I noticed it, and I like it to, so THANK YOU ZU

Yeah and I got top marks in my History Class, probably because I had the best wriiting skills, when we had to write an essay on the Black Death. I was pretty happy about that, and I know my writting skills are pretty advanced for my age.

ZU has helped me learn how to handle files and make my own sigs!

Ninjax he means that if you can type fast that means you can type up reviews since reviews are long.

Is that what you mean Unknown?

Because reading all the fan-fics help and you can pick up from others people grammer in there. But I still learnt loads and I didn't go in there much.

No not really. Typing fast doesn't really help much with your english and is not much of a thing to be 'intelligant' at.

But typing fast is very useful, I can type the same speed as I write now, before I came to ZU I couldn't.

Re: ZeldaUniverse Educational!

As you can see my grammer and spelling is almost perfect, the reason being is that i think before i post unlike other members, don't want to say any names.

Maybe because you were younger then and could take things in much easier.

I don't need to think before I post, I spell things right natturally. Though if I see a typing mistake I edit it, which everyone should do.

I don't get it. How does that confuse you? It's a picture of Ganondorf.

I don't think before I post. I think while I post, sometimes stopping to think of the next sentence.

@Unknown: You have awesome posts, considering you were born in 1993. I was born in 1989. I think I was just dumb when I was 13.

Re: ZeldaUniverse Educational!

^ Ninjax, it would help if you spelled "grammar" correct.

ZU has helped me to establish a firm grasp of the English language. You can learn a lot from just reading. ^ ^

Re: ZeldaUniverse Educational!

...I suppose it helped me type faster, but spelling and grammar? If anything, it makes it worse, staring at people typing "u no i cant do thi nad u r stoopid i dont no wut puncftuatioan it"

Yes. I learned from my English teacher. <.<

Still, unconsciously maybe it helped...<.< I don't know. ^_^
