Log in problems

Ok, one of my friends, which is Koroks, told me at school today that he can't log in anymore. He says he types in his password but it doesn't let him in. I know he puts his username in right, but I don't know about the password. Could anyone help?

Do you know if he was banned temporarily? Maybe his account was disabled. I'll call Lars and tell him about your friend's problem.

I checked before I made this thread, he's not banned. So now I have no idea what's wrong. Neither does he.

If he lost his password, he shord click on the "Lost Password" button under "Register".

It would help if you gave his account name.

I know what's wrong it happens to me. When i type it in sometimes it doesn't send me sometimes it sends be back to the site. My best advice is to first type in www.zeldauniverse.net/forums then type tell him to try it then. If all else fails tell Lars

Odd...be sure that he has cookies enabled in his browser and get him to try again.

No, I mean on a computer in general, not inn school. He doesn't even have time to get on computer in school.

I sent Lars a pm earlier. He'll probably set things straight.

Is your friend useing Aol or an out dated version or Internet Explorer because those programs wont set the cookies right and make sure he has cookies enabled on his browser in the control panel.
His school may not let cookies be enabled or let sertain game sites work right. In my school this girl went to this Girl site yes nudie and now we cant use the computers.

He uses InsightBB.com, and he doesn't use the schools, he's always on the home one.

The cookies in his browser might've been set too high. If he uses Firefox, make sure he's using the latest 1.0.4, released yestarday. That might help set cookies normal, and get him/her logged on. If he's/she's using Internet Explorer... make sure he/her is using Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher. It might work.

What exactly is the problem? 'He can't log in' is far to general. What happens when the username & password are entered?

Tell me, did you friend get a user name change? Maybe that's the case. This happened to me during the holidays but it eventually stopped.

He said he tried lost password, but he's not sure that that will help, he says it just goes into detail and doesn't set passwords or anything. I said I'd try it and see what the problem he was having was, but it doesn't email me, so I don't know what it says. So, I have no idea of what to do. I don't think he has cookie problems, so... I wouldn't know.

hmmm... i recommend you to tell your friend "my way". It's all the first page of this thread in my previous post. Trust me the same happened to me and i did that and it helped.
