Yet another Custom Title Thread

Alrighty, as spoken in the announcment a few weeks ago by Sear, one can have a custom title after 120 days of membership. Today marks that day for me, and I cant seem to find where to edit it. Could someone give me some instructions?

Go to Quick Links and Edit Profile. It'll be a box where you can write in your custom rank.

That's the thing, I see nothing but the same normalities when I get there. (And you can check my date of joning, because it HAS been 4 months. )

Does it require administrators to enable you to get a custom title? It might be that if it does need it. If it's not, keep searching.

Well, in your user profile (the one I can access as a moderator) you're still not in the Recognition group, which means you can't set your Custom Rank. You'll have to wait till you get placed in that group. It's done automaticly.

Hmm... Perhaps the date thing goes so deep as to take the actual time I joined into account? Could that be it?

That's probably it. Wait until around 8:00pm Greenwich Mean Time, and try again. The account creation time must have to hit bang on 4 months in time.

I would honestly just wait until the date changes to the day *after* you hit the 120 days. Meaning wait until tomorrow, come back, and you should absolutely have access to where you change your custom rank. I remember when I hit 1000, I bugged Shetani about where to change my rank. The fact is, you have to give the system time to actually process the fact that you can have a custom rank at this time.

I really hope this made sense to you. ^^

It logs the time, I believe.

There is something that has a 45 minute cycle installed or something... it checks every 45 minutes for people who have been registered 120 days. Once it checks you, it will add you and you will get your custom rank option.

I think Remus knows more about that.

Thanks for the info, now I'll just wait. Sadida, you're probably right, although I more than hope that GoldenChaos' and Kagun's theories are correct. Problem solved. For now....
