Lightbulb A Way To Reduce Spam Threads.

I have an idea that will reduce the number of spam/n00b like threads.

I do not think Deku Scrubs or Gerudo Thiefs should be able to start threads because most of them are spam threads like "i luv zelda!!!!!!!" and it gets pretty annoying for members and mods who have to close/delete the topics.

I have seen a lot of forums that do not let newbies start threads and it works out great. By the time members become Gorons (after 100 posts) they will know what threads are spam and which threads are not and we will hopefully see spam thread reduce.

Please consider this idea.

No.

First of all, it's been up for discussion before. It was settled that having such a system would only scare people away, and there *are* those that can make intelligent threads. Also, it wouldn't help against spammy posts, which really is the trouble here, not threads.

Thanks for sharing. ZU is not 'other forums.'

No other reason for this to be open. Locked.
