Public Groups

Here's a question that's been bothering me for some time: What is a Public Group? If you look on a user profile, you see a "Public Groups" section. What's it for?

Re: Public Groups

I may be mistaken, but a Public Group is a non-Private Group. This means that you can join a Public Group at any time (ZU doesn't seem to have any of these, at the moment), but you must be PLACED in a Private Group (like the Clans).

Re: Public Groups

I remember asking this exact same question nine months ago. And I think the best way that question was answered was with the words of ZeldaFreak++ who said:

Quote:
If we had a froup for each country around the world that people could be from and members could choose to join a group that just talked about a country that in theory everyone there was from and no one had to approve thier joining, it would be a public group.

Under "Group Membership" it would say 'U.S.A. Forum" "Sweden Forum" "Australia Forum" Or however they were named. Something like that in theory people would only join 1 and it would be by thier discretion.

Horrible example- or you could have "Skaters" "Preps" "Goths" "Nerds" And choose to be in one.

Edit: We don't have any public groups, hence you seeing no one with any memberships listed.
Does that make sence to you, Master Wolf?

Re: Public Groups

Oh, okay.

Odd. When I searched, there was nothing on public groups.
