I know the forums have been having some trouble today...

But i was just wondering if everyone else was having this problem. The skin (all the different ones) won't load. I'm just getting a white screen with text. Is anyone else having this problem, or is it something on my end?

The blue skin is still good for me, but the others are all a mess. Probably my computer remember how it was supposed to look. Yes, it's a problem for everyone.

This IS the new skin! This is the future! Those hundreds of dollars that were donated? It was for this! The Temple skin was just a placeholder; this is the real deal!

But yeah, I'm getting the same problem with my Old Main Skin (kind of a bad name, too, but that's always been like that).

I'm using the white skin. It's working fine for me. Although it has differed from when I last used it. I must say, the update doesn't compliment it.

Yeah the skins a bit borked for me but atleast the forum is up again. What happened anyway?

The Temple skin has gone back to normal for me.

vBulletin caches theme styling files - so, when we reverted to earlier in the day, the themes looked for their styling files but found nothing there, because they were looking for old files that had been deleted.

Hence, the themes all appeared to be broken.

Of course, as we all saw, this process refreshes every hour, or every few hours. So the skins returned to normal on their own.

This makes sense, I think, but doesn't really explain why some people never had the problem in the first place. :/

Some people's computers probably have cache data stored up with the skins in it. Thus, their cache begins auto-loading the skins from their preferences.
Happens a lot. It used to cause unlocked threads to show up as locked.
