Banners near Avatar.

The banners near your avatar, that say stuff like your clan and if you're a moderator, webmaster, or the sort.

There are also ones that say 'Patron' or 'Zelda Wiki.Org contributer' What is a patron? And, to have the Zelda Wiki banner, what do you have to do? Do you just have to contribute to the wiki?

I'm sorry if I seem ignorant.

Patrons donate to ZU. There was a time where everyone who did got the banner, but now I believe you must request it.

Last I checked, you got the banner if you made some number of edits to the wiki.

The Patron banners are for people who have donated to the site. After you've donated I think you PM Jason and he hooks you up with one. Or maybe the Patron system is over, since it was for a pretty specific donation drive.

The Zelda Wiki Contributer banner is for pretty much exactly what it says. People who have made significant contributions to the Zelda Wiki.

As for the wiki one, I'm not 100% sure, something like doing 1000 edits on the Zelda Wiki.

I don't see one, but under the list of staff, he is under "boss designer", so it probably has to do with that.

I'm pretty sure that had something to do with a 'design a boss' contest in General Zelda.

That was the old system. Now you just have to make quality edits because people were spamming to 1000.

Yeah, what everyone else said. If you want the shiny patron banner, you must donate at least $5 to ZU and then PM me requesting a banner. A while ago I used to give them to everybody who donated, but since we've fundamentally changed what donations are, it's now only on request. Of course, I'm always happy to give it to anyone who's donated

Zelda Wiki contributors just make good quality edits on the wiki.
