Imageshack hack

I just noticed this in my signature like five minutes ago when I posted in Serious Discussion. I don't know if this is randomized, selective, hacked advertisement or what, but this is what all three of my imageshack hosted, additional sig pics were replaced with:



Yeah. Take that, times three, and that's what was floating around in my sig and taking up massive space in threads.

Am I the only one this has happened to? And what is usually done when a mod notices an ad invade someones sig- especially one as big as this?

(Also, I want to upload my additional sig pics to somewhere because they function as my character links in the Escapist Haven. Anywhere reputable that you guys would recommend? I thought Imageshack was safe, until this happend. . . >_>)

I'm not sure what's going on with imageshack, but I at least use Photobucket when I have pictures I want to link to or use. Also, ZU itself has a picture-uploader for each user.

I use tinypic for all my imagehosting needs. Problem solved.

ImageShack is ****. Use Tinypic, instead. :3

And uh, whatever picture you uploaded to ImageShack is safe. I have a feeling this hack is just a temporary replacement for the images and it'll all be back to normal soon.

Thanks, but even if it was just temporary, that's heck of a lot of space (height wise 2415 pixels) to take up for an ad. . .

And I'll try of tinypic, since it has been rec'd twice ^^ and I miss my home made icons ;_;

But I'm still curious about what the mods would do if I hadn't noticed this (hah, despite how big it was).

I think imageshack was hacked since I too uploaded pictures through it on other sites and I also got weird pictures there instead, only to be taken down and they now appear as broken links.

Imageshack is safe, but hackers appear on every site.
