You can set that under Options, or whatever they call it now. Yay for 15 posts per page.

Yes, but adding the option for more doesn't make you obligated to use it. You specifically liking 20PPP isn't really a reason not to add more options.

I've been using 40 posts per page a long time. I find it annoying to have to flip between different pages too often.

I love 40ppp, I'd love even more though.

Personally I think it'd be awesome to be able to have the ability to set the entire thread to the one page if it wasn't so likely to be a browser crashing experience.

I use 15ppp. I don't understand when or why it stopped being the default. 40ppp is MASSIVE. What would be cool is if we had something like the Digg comments system - abolish pages, and just load more posts on demand by pressing a "load x more posts" button below the final post. The posts then appear AJAX-style.
