Somewhat true. But I don't see the big deal, though. Why bother with something as minor as this? They'd better be fixing major problems on the ZeldaUniverse website, such as the adds, pop-ups, etc.

No, instead, we don't want other ZU members actuallly join in on our more personal clans. This is actually the thing ZU should be bothered by the least, right now.

I've come at a certain point that I don't really care anymore for the clans, but giving in my opinion is not allowed, even though I've been in a clan?

Sorry, but isn't the point of engaging in forums posting productively and playing an active role in this particular community the entire point of this community? Well, sorry for expressing my opinion. :/

Site Staff really have no need to have access to clans outside their own. And the overwhelming majority of them only use that superfluous ability to post "oh hey look what i can do". Mods of other unrelated forums are the same, not really needing access to clan boards to do their job.

Yup, definately agreeing on that part. The Site Staff have no reason to be in all the clans. In fact, it still annoys me seeing all those extra names on the Staff section of the Member list because they honestly don't do anything for the forums. (Correct me if I'm wrong) A majority of people here at the forums don't go to the main site, don't look at the content, and have no clue what the stuff the Site Staff is actually doing. They aren't related to the forum really, so why should they be given more access on it?

I think it was Aly who complained about if first, but it's true that you can't scroll through the Din CT and see a constant red on the side from banners anymore. Now half of them are Rew and other Site Staff.

Also, didn't we used to have rules pertaining to account/password sharing? I was under the impression it was "one member per account and one account per member". Now, along with "Site Staff" and any kind of moderator, there also regular members just sharing accounts to see into other clans.

Just wanted to point out that they never pay attention to that rule. I'm one of those crazy people who don't see anything wrong with sharing a password with someone who you know would never do anything bad to your account. But that's not the matter at hand, so I'll shut up. Just wanted to say that people can collect other passwords to see all the clans just as easily without the Staff having access.

Yeah, I don't mind the mods, but Site Staffers are getting annoying.

Since it only affects a much smaller quanity of people than the whole forums, it should be put on the side bench? Lets be realistic here... how long do you honestly think it would take to apply permissions to maximum 10 - 15 staff members? Certainly not long enough that it significantly affects these 'other' projects you mentioned.

Regardly how you feel about the clans, people do play a big part in them and certainly do consider them worthy enough to have a discussion concerning them.

The clan you're in just specifies your personality type, right?

That doesn't change the fact that I've experienced once more clan than all other users. Despite me having no access to any clans anymore, I still have more experience than the vast majority of ZU users, this includes staff.

How long it would take, a couple of days, at least. Since Jason isn't being a complete twat worrying about minor details such as these, and is working on the entire ZU mainsite/forums instead. Additionally, these other projects are still more relevant to the wellness of the website than a mere dozen of users who have access to particular areas of the clan subforums.

That said, I know people play a big part in the clans and they are -perhaps- worthy enough of having a discussion about. Too bad they're not important enough to be place as a priority #1 matter. Needless to say, I do understand your sense of logic and opinion, it's just that I don't agree entirely, just partially.

No offense towards you or anything, GD, but Jehanne is really making me look bad in this particular discussion by not allowing any posts regarding my personal opinion on this. I can't really consider this as acceptable, at all, but yeah.

We are (perhaps) still dicussing it until Jason himself comes in and posts his statement - unless he is too busy, for a minute, like Lieutenant Lollipop states. I'm certainly not demanding him to drop everything and come in here, I don't understand why other people want us to stop on the dot either.

I would be very surprised if Jason was the only one with the access to apply these permissions. However that is beside the point. Jason is busy - understandable - but Jason only needs to tell his other administrators his yes or no and they should do it for him. So I am not requesting from Jason himself to do it, but he says the final word on the issue (Shaun: From his 'mouth'.

This whole discussion is not a priority, and I don't know why anyone would think that we demand it so. But it is a discussion, and it is always here for when Jason and his administrators have time to look back upon it once they have time during their projects.
