How to Add Fan-Art to the Site

I have a few Zelda-related drawings I'd like to add to the fan art section of the site, but I'm not sure how, and I couldn't find an FAQ or anything that tells you how. I've got what I need- a scanner, printer, and internet connection, but it'd be nice if somebody could hook me up with some info on this. Thanks.

PS: I posted a thread similar to this some time ago, but it wasn't very well writen, so I didn't get the answers I was looking for. That's why I made another.

If you use an FTP, I think you just insert it to the img folder..... I'm not sure myself.

Uh... What's an FTP? What's an img folder...? Sorry, I'm not that great with computer stuff.

OK, once you've scanned your fan-art and got it ready to be uploaded, go to the main ZU page. (www.zeldauniverse.net)

If you aren't signed in on the main page you should log-in.

On the left side of the screen there are quite a few links, under the 'Interactive' heading you should see a link that says 'Fan-Art', click on that.

You should now be in the Zelda Universe Media Gallery. There will be a few grey boxes, you have to click on the "Create / order my albums" one.

Hit the "new" button down at the bottom of the screen, and an entry called "New Album" should appear. Click on it and rename it (using the text box at the bottom of the screen) to whatever you want to call it.

Hit the "Apply Modifications" button and then click on the blue link (at the top of the screen) that says "Upload file".

If the file is on your harddrive you then either type in the file location/name (ie. C:\art\filename.jpg) or hit the 'browse' button and find it that way.

If you've uploaded it elsewhere simply put the image's address into the 'URL' field. (ie. www.hostingplace.com/mygallery/filename.jpg)

Click the 'continue' button.

You're now done. If you want to upload stuff in the future you just have to go to the 'upload file' link, you only need go to the 'create / order my albums' link if you want to sort your images further by creating multiple albums.

Wait. Is this on your own site you own? Or you just trying to find a way to upload images?

No, I'm trying to add drawings to the fan art section here at ZU.
