A poll forum?

I've noticed a recent increase in simple survey threads [like this ] and quite frankly, I see them as pure spam. I think we should either make a rule declaring any thread posted in general chit-chat needs to have the potential to be talked about, and not just answered [like: Yes, I shower. I don't like baths.], or, make a subforum for those kind of question threads. It's just, I can see what some users are trying to do, but the majority of ZU takes those threads and post little sentence posts, making spam and raising their post count.
What do you guys think?

#2. I agree. Any thread that has a poll should have a good introduction post to back it up. Earlier we have banned quiz threads because they were spammy, and threads that have just a poll (without much to back it up), are just as bad. If there's a poll or actually any thread, I'd like a real discussion, and asking "why" doesn't satisfy that completely. If you can post a responce to a discussion with a sentence or less, it's most likely going to turn out to be spammy. Try to make discussions that you have to fully express what you want to/need to say.
