The new Zelda Universe is here - Feedback and Suggestions wanted!

The version of the site has launched, and if you read the latest update (which I just posted), you have gotten a glimpse at some of the stuff that are to be implemented to Zelda Universe in the future.

The purpose of this thread however, is for you to make your suggestions about what you wish to see, be it content or features. We are also open for content submissions, so if you think have something which can be of value for the site, be sure to state it in here, and leave your contact info in that post as well.

Oh, and please refrain from leaving comments like "uuuh, I want a newer design", I only see your lips moving when you start that, and I'm not a very good reader of that.

jk jk, Lars, the site looks great, I really like the whole login feature on the actual webpage rather than having to go on the forums and log in just to check PM's and what not.
In all, its great and I alond with every other Zelda fan appreciate all the effort you've put in to making ZU number 1

Oh. Suggestions:
- Add more Flash movies. There are lots of flash-movies of Zelda (Legendary Frog etc.), and if you ask the creator, he will probably let you host it.
- Fangames? It is getting bigger by the second, so it would be a good idea to atleast have some on it.
- More info about the "other games". Cd-i games, Game&Watch, the Board game. I love to read about them.
- Try getting a new comic going. Hyruliality is probably a dead project, but a new one wouldn't kill the cat.

As for those suggestions, they are definately valid ones, and I will certainly take them into consideration

I like the new design! I think it is fine how it is right now except (this seems stupid) maybe you could put in voice clips from Zelda games. Just a suggestion.

Maybe you could add some background music. Otherwise, I love the cleaner layout, Lars, you are the absolute greatest.

I once saw a website that had a cool interactive story.
It worked like this:
The first post (made by the webmaster) had two choices what to do in the end. When one clicked, there were a textbox where one could submit a new post, and two textboxes for the next options.
So everyone could participate in making a huge story with LOTS of options.

The bad thing about this is that people would most obviusly abuse it. To have moderators at it would be a tough job, but not if it had a good system. (Like, mods could see latest additions, and such).

Another negative thing is that people might end up with adding all to one storyline, but that is kind of hard to do.

I don't know if there exist a script like this, but I can't imagine it beeing hard to do.

Anyone remember those 'choose your own adventure' books? That's what this sounds like, except, you know, in progress. Could be cool.

In your update, u said that you were still figuring out how to start fan fic. So, when u get a solid launch date, could one of the mods or admins PM me? I noticed how no one has asked a PM from u, so i thought that if just ONE person asked, u might be able to take it into consideration.... thanks!

Meep!!!!!! Its sooooo pretty.....I just love the update Lars. And I usually don't say that much at websites. You did a great job. Im typing a fan fic but been getting in to CS (Counter Strike) but still. Awesome.

Only if you think it's a good idea - personally, since everything's integrated, having a dedicated thread in the forums is just as good, if not better because that way it can be moderated.

All in all, it's very good - very sophisticated changes. And I like the new logo.

Maybe have a good half-page minimum on each section of the story thingee, if it's being used.

I mean, you'd think spammers would be discuraged if they need to write 100-200 words. If they copy and paste one word over and over, someone moderating it will soon see it.

Because the main site is intergrated with the forums thats possible

it's missing the staff page. That's the best page...

And when the Fan Fic goes up, I might submit my poetry on the site (it's not zelda related though, I don't know if that matters or not... :-\)

Considering it's fan fiction, I guess it only spans over zelda related stories and poems. At least, that's what it did on the older version.
